We really enjoyed this campground. We spent 2 days visiting Kings Island and one day at the Creation Museum. It was convenient to both. It was a beautiful park. Sites were good size. No shade where we were, but we could tell that from the pictures on the web site. We would certainly stay here again.
We really liked the park. Overall the campsites were ok. Many of them were small and uneven. There were plenty of trees which was nice for the shade but there was very little grass. Our site was pretty tight, we couldn't put the awning out but that was ok with all of the shade. Enjoyed fishing and hiking. Great state park and will go back.
Great campground. We stayed three nights but wished we would have planned a couple more days. We walked to Holiday World both days but it seemed like there were plenty of shuttle buses. Camp store was really nice. Nice lake to fish in. We did not go to the pool, but we wished we had more time because it seemed to be really nice. Free mini golf was a bonus. Planning to go again next summer as Holiday World was a great family friendly place to visit. Had a great time and will stay longer next time.
