After reading some negative comments about this campground, we rolled the dice and elected to stay here and not pay the $70+ for the Zephyr campground. We had asked for a "big rig" site for our 36' MH/tow car. We got exactly what we wanted. It was shady, easy to access and quite clean and comfortable. The entire campground has a sandy base, so there was some dust, but it is a campground afterall. The roads were paved and there were some roots heaving the asphalt, but nothing that caused us any concern. We had a great experience and the the check in went smooth. We checked in very late, so the office was closed, but our site was identified and we knew where to go based on the door posting. No problems. The campground is off the beaten path, so it was very quiet and everyone honored the 10pm quiet time. We will stay here again.
What a great RV park if you want a rive setting. We sat right on the Rogue and walked to the fishing docks in a minute. The staff was very helpful, even when we checked in at 10 PM. The location is a bit off the beaten path and it took a while to get to the park, but it was worth it. The restrooms/showers were clean and plenty of hot water. We would stay here again.
What a great RV park. We stayed here 3 nights in very hot weather. The grounds are very clean and the shower/restrooms were immaculate. The swimming pool was clean, and they offered a continental breakfast. Our stay was a good experience. Very convenient off of I-5 in both directions. We will stay here again if in the Redding area.
The campground proximity to the Redwoods was the only thing good about this park. The restrooms/shower areas were so dirty and disgusting that we ended up using our motorhome for those purposes. Everything was brown and dry and very dusty. We didn't let our kids out of our sight because of the type of people walking around. Wouldn't stay there again. We will look elsewhere and travel further to find something better.
