After a 2 hour traffic jam in Austin, it was nice to see an easily accessible RV Park. Not the prettiest place, but we find that any park with these scrub oak trees just can't be made to look pretty! Had a big pull through site for our 42 footer. We took a 30 amp site at 35 dollars because the 50 amp sites are too high priced at 45 dollars!! We feel it's too high priced, but still a decent place to stay the night. We slept with the windows open and were not bothered by traffic noise.
Many new upgrades. The new section is beautiful, with park-like grounds and huge sites!!! HUGE!! The manager is excellent and very helpful! Stayed an extra day because it was so close to easy shopping.
It is NOT a KOA any longer. The new owners are doing a wonderful job of renovating. Easy access. Big pull-throughs for our 42 footer, but get there early for the large pull-throughs. Bathrooms and showers were extremely clean! Nice place! Friendly owners!
Could not connect to Wi-Fi because the server would not allow high speed due to a minimal contract. Therefore we could not connect. The sewer hookups are so high off the ground that the water can't get from your tank. The park is small with tight corners. We could not take the site they first gave us because we could not make the corner and the trees were too low. Personnel were friendly and helped as much as they could.
