Good, level site; did not have to unhook. Facilities worked well, Wi-fi was excellent. Staff were very friendly; there was quick efficient registration. Escort to site. Gravel roads/sites, easy to maneuver. Fairly quiet. Very clean. We would stay here again.
Very close to the interstate, so there is road noise. Friendly staff, facilities worked well. Wi-Fi is slow. Virgin Mobile signal is good. Interior roads are generally good. This is our second time staying here and would stay here again.
Good Sam rate. Noisy with trains (all night), convenient to I-65, facilities worked well, sites not overly level and need paving, regrading. Park is kind of run down, lots of permanent trailers in the back part, but the pull-throughs are for transients. Wi-Fi is slow, Virgin Mobile signal was good. Interior roads are in poor shape. Convenient location while traveling north for one night. We would stop here again.
The rates reflects weekly rates. This is an older park with gravel sites and access roads. The back-in could be tricky. The sites are not overly level, but that was not a problem. There are a lot of mature trees, so there are a lot of leaves, twigs and sap. Good Wifi. The facilities worked well. There are a lot of permanent residents, but they were friendly. Staff was very friendly. Very convenient to Mobile. We would stay here again.
The rate is Good Sam. It was clean with level paved pull-through and access roads. The facilities worked well. It was quiet with good WiFi. The staff was friendly. We have stayed here in the past and would stay here again.
The water & electricity worked well, back in was tricky. Pull throughs may or may not be suitable for big rigs. Staff do not seem to know which sites are best suited for big rigs. The site was not overly level. The access roads are very narrow and winding in the camping area. They did not have a good Virgin Mobile cell signal. We would stay here again, but not as a first choice.
Rate reflects weekly rate. Quiet, easy access from I10. There are gravel sites and access roads. Also, there are easy back-in, site was level with excellent WiFi. The facilities worked well. Staff were friendly and escorted us to the site. We would definitely stay here again.
The rate reflects $800/month over 28 days + electric. The park is quite nice and clean. Wide paved roads, pea-stone sites with concrete pads. We did not find the other residents overly friendly compared with other large parks. Facilities work well. I would have rated it higher, except there is no free wi-fi, except in the club house, and there are no dumpsters to put your garbage into. Collection is twice/week and the birds attack the bags until they collect them, usually late in the afternoon, yet they want them out at 6 am. A very nice park, but over-priced in our opinion. For that reason alone we will not stay here again.
Rate is the weekly one ($100/wk + elect). Easy to back in, wide streets, very wide sites, hook-ups worked fine, site was level with concrete pad on the side, no wi-fi, but Virgin Mobile mifi worked but was spotty and slow. Staff were very friendly but were a little picky on how far you backed in. No tape measure though as mentioned before. Some road noise but not too bad. We would stay here again.
8 mile dirt road to the park made the rig a mess. Friendly check in, PA rate, facilities worked well, $2 for wifi, worked well, site not very level (front to back), easy entry/exit, very quiet. Too bad about the dirt road, we would not stay here again.
Sites were level, was able to stay connected for the night. Water tap did not work, had been frozen and damaged. Wifi worked well. PA rate. Friendly check in, and the place did fill up my late afternoon. Easy entry/exit, quiet park. We would stay here again.
Rate listed is W/E fee. Self serve is confusing, they lead you to believe there are more sewer sites ($4 more per night) than there are, so I paid for a sewer site and didn't get one. No refunds. Sites are easy to back into, fairly level, Virgin Mifi worked well, facilities worked well. We would camp here again, but, we would find our site first and then register. They should tell you to do that on their instructions.
Rate is Good Sam, facilities worked fine, could not connect to WiFi at site, Virgin Mifi worked fine. Staff were very friendly. Their cafe has a great supper. Site was level and easy to enter. We would stay here again.
Hook ups are fine, cable works, sites are level. Generally quiet, but there is an airport nearby. Staff are friendly. The shuttle is a good deal and you can get $3 per person discount on tours they book for you. However, it is overpriced. The security gate is seldom closed. Wi-Fi is brutal, bring your own. Back in sites are not overly long. They promote "cancellation insurance", the only park we have experienced doing this. For that reason alone I would not recommend reserving a site. Just show up. We probably would stay here again as the pickings are slim and this is one of the cheaper ones. The rate cited is with Passport America.
Can be very confusing as to where to register. The main office is by the Children's Museum, you then have to leave the park and re-enter it about a mile away. I was fortunate someone escorted me to the other entrance. Facilities worked well, quiet, except for the acorns bouncing off the roof. We would stay here again.
This park is a parking lot with services, which worked well. The rate is Passport America, actually $11.56/nt. It is an easy walk to some of the attractions. A note for Shaw Satellite customers, I could not get my dish to work. We would stay here again.
Rate is PA for 50 amp. Facilities worked well, but there is high water pressure so use a regulator. If you have a satellite dish mention that when making reservations. Sites are fairly level but the road way is not. Wi-Fi is strong and works very well. Staff were very friendly and explained ticket options/local attraction info. Very quiet park. Would have given it a higher rating except the roads are gravel and sloped. We would stay here again.
The campground is old and basically a parking lot, but the facilities worked fine, Wi-Fi signal is weak, sites are uneven pavement but I was able to get level. Entrance is not obvious, just drive around the block when you see the trailers. Staff were very friendly and escort you to site and assist with parking and giving information regarding the sights to see, which are close by. Rate is Good Sam. We would stay here again.
Park is under new management and is not open all year, is closing Nov 4/12 for the winter. Facilities worked well, Wi-Fi only works at the office, not at your site. Staff were friendly, site was level and quiet. We would stay here again.
Facilities worked fine, considerable noise from the Interstate, Gas/Diesel available on site, Burgers are great, level sites, rate is Good Sam. Virgin mobile mifi worked fine. We would stay here again.
Nice park: the pull through site was level, the facilities worked well. The Wi-Fi is fairly slow and you have to "log in" every few hours, which is a pain. Quiet sites (Pioneer loop), great trail system. You have to pay for a vehicle pass for every day of your stay, extra $9. Rate reflects the cost of the pass. Very clean. We would stay here again.
Fairly level site, easy pull through, facilities worked well, very windy, very good free internet, very friendly staff, escorted to site, good cable TV, could hear the interstate. Good for an overnight. We would stay here again. KOA card rate.
Level site, easy to back-in, friendly check-in, facilities worked well. Got a good Virgin mobile signal which was good as the Wi-Fi was intermittent, fast when it worked, but could be difficult to get on. Rate is Good Sam. We would stay here again.
Typical desert campground, most of the pull through sites are "buddy" sites, where your entry faces your neighbor. Poor Virgin mobile and the park WiFi is very fast, but very intermittent and very frustrating. Facilities work well. Our site was not very level. Handy with Camping World next door. We would stay here again. Rate is PA.
Weekly cash rate, typical desert campground, easy to pull through. Ask for a pull through not for one of the ones along the side as your RV entry faces the main park road, not nice. Owners are on-site and very friendly/helpful, which is good as the wifi needs rebooting every few days. Facilities worked well, level sites. Quiet and close to town. We would stay here again.
This is a typical KOA, kind of cozy. We had a level site, facilities worked fine. We were escorted to site. The Wi-Fi is painfully slow, but Virgin Mobile Mifi worked well. It is a quiet park, staff were very friendly and helpful. Be aware owners do not allow electrical adapters (staff don't know why, neither do I). We would stay here again.
Facilities are good, quiet, sites are fairly level. 30A E & W available. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Their reservation system is kind of screwy, I checked on-line to see if sites were available for the 3 days we were going to be there. There were a number showing as available that morning, but when we arrived 3 hours later they said they were gone. Best to make reservations, as we had to move after one night, apparently this is happening a lot. No Virgin mobile service, AT&T was fine. We would stay here again, but will make a reservation ahead of time.
The good: friendly helpful staff, good wi-fi (free Tengo), services work fine, close to strip, felt safe. The bad: the price is excessive for a parking lot. Price included one free night out of 8 and all taxes, otherwise it would have been $65 + taxes/night. Having said that, we would stay here again for the convenience.
Very disorganized check-in. Attendant at entrance said pick any site and then go to the office (in the ghost town) to pay. So we set up and I went to pay, apparently most of the sites were reserved so we had to move. The next night one of the staff stops to collect our payment (we already paid) and to know why we weren't on the assigned site (the one we had to move off). More explanations followed. The park never did fill up with all the reservations. Otherwise, the campground is quiet, facilities worked fine, sites can be very non-level. Very weak AT&T/ Virgin Mobile service. We probably would stay here again.
Park is clean, facilities worked fine, Wi-Fi not very good, wasn't working most of the time had to use my Virgin mobile Mi-Fi. Rate is Passport America. Staff were friendly, sites are kind of close together and a 40 foot unit may be limited to a few sites. There are a lot of long term residents with small noisy dogs, but not much noise at night when it counts. We would stay here again.
Park is clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Shuttle to Disney stops right at the park and is very reasonably priced. The facilities worked well, internet is Tengo but is free, very fast and stable. I would have given them a 10 but the price is a little steep. There is some planes, trains and automobiles noise, but not too bad. We would stay here again if visiting Disneyland.
Rate is Passport America. Facilities worked fine, mostly long term residents, but they are very friendly. Fairly quiet except for the roosters roaming the campground. Gravel/sand sites with a pad (not for parking on) and gravel roads. All back-ins, not too bad for access. Free Wi-Fi generally worked very well, but occasionally slowed down. 10 miles from Yuma. We would stay here again.
Staff are very friendly, sites are level, unpaved and reasonably wide. Park is quiet. Services worked fine. Wi-Fi is free, fast when it works, but very sporadic. Virgin mobile MiFi worked well, good cell service. Price reflects Passport America rate. We would stay here again.
Very friendly staff, escorted to site. Park is right downtown, so you can walk to all the attractions. Facilities were fine, the pull-through sites are buddy sites (you face your neighbor). The Wi-Fi was fine, then became painfully slow. We would stay here again for the convenience.
Typical desert park, gravel/dirt. Staff were friendly as were long term residents. Hook ups were fine. Wide roads in the park, GPS had trouble finding the entrance. Rate reflects Good Sam discount, would stay here again.
Typical desert type of park. Office was closed when we arrived but owner was nearby and checked us in. Hook ups were fine, internet was fast and free. No road noise, some train noise. Only stayed one night, would stay here again. Rate reflects W & E with KOA discount.
Kind of pricey for a dirt parking lot with sites close together. Park is surrounded by a wall and seems safe. Free Wi-fi is very good, but you have to sign-in several times a day. Rate reflects Good Sam rate, but they take other cards as well. Park is clean and even though you are fairly close to the interstate it is reasonably quiet. Sites are level, staff were friendly, services worked fine. We would camp here again.
Great park. Rate reflects monthly rate, plus electricity @ 16 cents/KWHr. Amenities are excellent, the park is very well kept. There are lots of activities. The staff and residents are very friendly. We stayed a month and would definitely stay here again.
Rate is Passport America. Showed us to our site, was quiet even though I-20 is not far away. Wi-Fi is weak but free. The concrete pads were level, services easy to connect to. We would definitely come back again.
Pros- close to Kansas City, good Wi-Fi, close to some shopping, friendly staff/owners, quiet. Cons- tight spaces for parking (5 feet away from the neighbor) and maneuvering for a 36 foot 5ver, kind of pricey for what you get. We would stay here again.
The campground is well kept and everything works well. The Wi-Fi is weak and flaky at times. The road noise from the interstate is quite loud at night. We stayed a week so we could see Nashville, very convenient for that. We would stay here again.
This is a very poorly kept parking lot with services. Very tight spaces and may be difficult to get your unit level. I have Passport (America) but was charged full rate as there were 3 adults. It is close to Graceland and was quiet. I probably wouldn't stay here again.
Good for an overnight stay. The entry road is horrible and you have to crawl over it; the park roads are only slightly better. The site layout is different. They are extremely long, but could be used as two separate sites, one unit behind the other. The sites are gravel and fairly level. We would stay there again.
Gotta love the trains! Very frequent, but at least they don't blow their whistles all the time. The park is a gravel parking lot with services, but that was OK for an over-night stay. No problem with the site/services. Easy on and off I-40 with a gas/diesel station close by. We would stay there again.
Check-in staff was very courteous and helpful. Their park brochure listed the cable channels. Site and services were fine. The noise from I-40 is muted and not really noticeable in the trailer at night. I did not notice any dog waste-n-scoop issues when I walked the park. The pool was not open at this time of the year. The rate reflects their rate for 2 nights get the 3rd night free. They are no longer a Passport America park. We would stay here again.
