WOW: this park is upscale and a step or 3 up from what we're used to. All concrete pads with grass on both sides of my 5'er. Lots of room for slide outs. We were here in August and the temperature was beautiful. Saw a little red fox run out in the street. Although it was pricy, it was well worth it. Located on the outskirts of Breckinridge, it's the only RV park in town so you need to make reservations at least a couple of weeks ahead. If you have COPD or any Respiratory problems, you should reconsider due to the elevation of 9100 ft. Would I go back? In a New York second.
Eagle Soaring is a place to kickback. There is no office to check in, just a trailer at site #1. The Wi-Fi works great at the East end of the park so if it is important, request a spot on the east end. If you want to take a shower, it will cost you 50 cents for 6 minutes of water. No laundry on site. The train only comes through once a day or night. The mounds between sites are full of ankle injuring holes that are covered up by weeds and the sites are not level. But the hosts are helpful and friendly. Don't think I will stay here again.
What a find. This place is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast every Saturday morning and the food is GREAT. 10 acres of land with 94 full hookup sites, 6 tent sites, 4 pop-up sites & 5 cabins. There are about 40 full timers but they are friendly. 50 sites have cable and 20 sites are on a stream. Close to town. Trees everywhere. Only drawback is you have to go to the main lodge to use the wifi. I would recommend it any and every body and I will come back again.
This is a big gravel lot. The sites are NOT even close to level. We were very close to the Wi-Fi antenna and reception was good to not at all. The water pressure is around 100 psi so you need a regulator. All sites are back in. The waterfronts are up a berm, over a fence, across a walking path and down to the river. The bathrooms are clean but "rustic" and need to be updated. The hosts are very nice but don't seem to know to much about the town. I would NOT stay here again on a bet. I feel that the park is way over priced.
This is a very nice RV park but it is showing it's age. Some sites are close together and others are spread out. There are some sites that are not used. The staff is very friendly and will go out of there way to help. Located just a couple of miles from Vallecito Lake. Put your trash out in front of your unit between 6AM and 9AM and the staff will pick it up. I would stay here again in a minute.
This is a very nice RV park. The staff was helpful with any questions. High water pressure means that you need a pressure reduction valve that will keep from breaking your water lines in your rig. There is a very large City of Cortez park across from this RV park that you can take your dog or kids on little walks. Nice trees for shade and the price was right. There are some full timers there and they are all very friendly. I would go back in a heart beat.
