The friendly staff sold ice cream ($.50) in the evening and pancakes & coffee ($2)in the morning. Trees are still short so little shade. Wi-Fi worked. Enjoyed our stay and would visit again.
It's a state park, so there is no cable or internet; but it is in a beautiful area in the mountains above Santa Fe. Quiet at night. Nice hike along the ridge line (strenuous). Had to run the ranger down in the morning to get him to unlock the dump station.
Pros: Clean showers; cable works. Cons: Internet service doesn't work. Highway curves around campground, so it is noisy at night. Swimming pool is small and unheated.
