Some spots are not well drained. Heavily wooded sites so no satellite TV. Great hiking trails at the Stone Fort along the Duck River. I would readily stay here again.

Nice campground but minimal involvement from staff. No information was available on the local area. Sites were well marked. There was beach nearby that was part of the campground. Nice restaurant in the lodge with panoramic view. I would stay here again if in the area.

We were here during the "off-season" and it was only about 15% full. Trains at night were the only negative, did not know East Coast Florida RRs were that busy! Staff was very helpful and anxious to make the visit great. We thought the spaces were too close, but since they were mainly empty, it was not an issue with us. This park is obviously full and busy with snowbirds during the winter and it looks like everybody has a ball!

About six of the sites were directly adjacent to the beach; others are close by. It was good swimming beach. Kayaks are available to rent and there is some beautiful kayaking through the mangroves nearby. There are some hiking trails across US highway 1 that are part of this park. Only downside is there is no shade. Restrooms and bathhouses were always clean and were close to the sites which are arranged in a circle around the bathhouse and restrooms.

This park was great in many ways. There were play grounds for kids, easy beach access and good beaches with lifeguards. There were bike trails through the woods and hiking trails too. All were well kept and marked plainly. Most sites were pull through. The staff was helpful and friendly and available. Looking forward to our next visit.
