I stayed here as a stopover on the way home. The entrance is pretty steep, but if you take it slow and pay attention, it's not a problem. I had a nice long pull-through site. Didn't even have to unhook the trailer from the truck. Staff was extremely friendly. I arrived just minutes before the on-site cafe was scheduled to close. They kept it open long enough for me to get registered, and parked in the site. The BBQ was really good. They even delivered my order to my campsite. Since this was just a stopover, I did not use the shower or restroom facilities. They have a playground for the kids, but didn't use them. However, the rest of the campground was really nice and I would think the other facilities would be in good working order. My campsite had 2 fire rings. One on each end of the site, along with a built in charcoal grill. The sewer connection was on a steep grade, but going down hill. May be a problem for some people, but I liked how it hooked up. My tanks drained really fast. I would stay in this campground again if in the area.

I stayed at this campground as base camp to see the Civil War battlefields in the area and Washington DC. My campsite was a bit unlevel, but I was able to park the trailer at an angle and it worked out well. The pull-through site was really long. They have a pond with a fountain in the middle. As far as the smell that some others have posted, I didn't notice it until I walked right up to the bank of it and then it wasn't that bad. Most of the interior roads were in good shape. Staff were working on the ones that were rough. Road leading to the campground was a bit narrow and curvy. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with anything I needed. If in the area again, I would stay at this campground, but would probably get one of the back-in sites with the patio.

This was my base camp for doing things around the area. First stay at a KOA. Was worried, as I have always heard bad things about KOA campgrounds. Restrooms and showers were clean. Pool and spa were clean. Spa was in good working order. Laundry room was clean and in good working order. It was a bit cool to enjoy the pool. Spa was nice though. Friendly staff that were eager to tell about local attractions and give directions to them. Interior roads were a bit narrow, but in good condition. My pull through was long enough that I had no trouble parking the camper and truck in it. I would stay here again if in the area. Price reflects extra guest.

I stayed here for 2 weeks while in St. Augustine. Interior roads were a little rough. They do have 3 different laundry facilities, two of which are outside under a covered porch. Shower facilities were dated, but always kept clean and stocked. No cable TV. I had a full hookup pull through site. All hookups worked as expected. Wi-Fi worked well also. Staff were friendly. They gave us a book of discount coupons to the local attractions. Easy access in/out on Highway 207. I will stay here again when in the area.

I stayed here as a base camp for Silver City. The campground was nice and quiet. Internet worked well for me. Staff was friendly, but office closed earlier than most campgrounds. Gravel sites were very spacious. Campground is located next to a cemetery. Billy the Kid's mother, Catherine Antrim, is buried in the cemetery. Was not able to do some of the things I had planned due to the forest fire. Would stay here again if in the area.

Very nice campground with gravel sites. I stayed in early June as a base camp for the Grand Canyon. Was an hour drive to the Grand Canyon, but the office sells tickets for the Grand Canyon Railway. The staff was very friendly. All facilities worked well and restrooms were always clean.

I have stayed at this campground several times in the last few years. Always had a great experience. Staff is friendly & campsites are spacious. Pull through sites are long enough for my truck and travel trailer without any part of them sticking out in the roads. The campground is built on the old civil war battlefield. Wi-fi worked well. The campground manager referred me to this site. They value the reviews & try to make improvements based on what their customers suggest. This campground will be my choice when staying in the Chattanooga area.
