Well maintained and very helpful staff. We had a big shade tree on our west side which was good. We faced a corn field which was fine. Interstate noise might bother some. Sites were level and Wi-Fi was good. No cable. They said there were 6 local channels but we could only get 3. Good for an overnight stay. We would stay here again.
Sites are outstanding. Long concrete pads with high end pedistles, grills, and metals picnic tables. The only downside was our check-in person was very distracted and even forgot to give us the Wi-Fi code. When we called to get it we were told we would have to go to the hotel to get it. There is a lot of road noise but you are in a metro area. Rate reflects GS discount. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nice quiet camp with several small lakes that are stocked with fish. A lot of seasonal campers but numerous lake front sites are reserved for short stays. Back to back sites are used for pull though sites when they are not busy. Good location to tour the area and lots of big box stores back towards Duluth. They only take cash or checks. We would definitely stay here again. Rate paid is with Good Sam discount.
Paved roads through the campground. Large sites. Cable TV had lots of channels and Wi-Fi was good. Restaurants and other services in walking distance. Had to pay $2 extra for 50 amp. Rate reflects Good Sam discount.
Very tourist friendly. Free shuttle to the island ferries. They also recommend a dog kennel 1/4 mile from them for day boarding. We used that and it was great. Laundry was very clean, but as others have stated probably a little pricey. Sites were level with plenty of room between sites. Wi-Fi was strong. Owners and other workers were very friendly and helpful. Rate reflects KOA discount
Shaded sites are for seasonals. Our site was long but dipped In the middle but did not cause a problem other than the sewer dump was uphill. Lots of room between sites and a lot of green space behind us. We were close to RV storage area but it didn't bother us as it was quieter that way. Wi-Fi showed to have a strong signal but we had trouble connecting to Internet or email. Park is well maintained with many trash cans located throughout the park. They provide doggie bags. We would stay here again
This is a county park with extremely well maintained sites. Sites are back in and huge - with separate parking spots between you and your neighbor. Only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because it lacks some of those things that might be an issue for some - no cable or Wi-Fi. You can pick up TV stations from Flint on antenna. As mentioned before, not all sites can be reserved but we were able to reserve ours as they were not that busy yet. We stayed here 3 nights while visiting friends in the area but it would be a good overnight as it is only a couple miles off I-75. Rate reflects a senior discount. We would definitely stay here again. It was one of the nicest parks we have stayed in.
Long pull-throughs. Sites are wider than the normal KOA sites. Great off leash dog park. Big park with a creek running through the middle. Very scenic. More of a destination KOA than most. Rate reflects KOA discount. We would stay here again.
Stayed here 4 years ago and they have actually made improvements by upgrading electric to 50 amp for most if not all sites. Very level, gravel sites with picnic table. Near to I-44 but not much noise from the traffic. Very quiet. We would stay here again.
Good location to tour the area. Many long term campers, but park is quiet and seems to be well maintained. Sites were level but VERY close to your neighbor...so close it was very difficult to get from your door to walk back to your car. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for 2 nights and found it convenient to touring around Nashville. Unlike others we found the staff helpful and friendly. Sites were close like most KOAs but was adequate for our needs. Wi-Fi and cable TV were both good. Also saw a lot of maintenance being done to grounds while we were here. Rate reflects KOA discount. We would stay here again.
Pretty setting. Sites are tight and gravel but fairly level. Liked the fenced pet yard. Very pet friendly. Cable worked well. We especially liked the ice cream - offered about 12 different Blue Bell flavors and the office was open until 8 pm. Only downside was a lot of road noise which is fairly typical of KOAs . Rate reflects KOA discount.
Nice wide spaces and concrete pads. Located right on the Mississippi so the views are great, and there is a nice walkway on the river. Some noise from the construction but not too bad. We were right next to the office so we actually had wi-fi. Very nice office facility. Rates includes a $5 a day surcharge for 50 amp less Good Sam discount. We would definitely stay here again
Pretty basic CG with gravel roads and sites. Many pull through sites. We stayed here two nights while touring Vicksburg. Wasn't very crowded which made it pretty quiet although there was some minimal road and airport noise. Cable TV was very limited: 7 channels. Appeared to be well maintained. We would stay here again.
Agree with previous reviewer. Only downside to this campground is constant noise from the Interstate. Sites are level and well spaced. They also provided a 5% discount if you paid with cash. They provided great doggy bags too.
Rate is with KOA discount. A lot of interstate noise. We had to wait 30 minutes for the owners to get signed in. Dog walk was about the size of my German Shepherd and next to the pool. Was ok for an overnight stay.
Rate is with KOA discount. Good breakfast deals, rental cars on site. Workers in office were frustrated with a lot of business and decided not to answer the phones when they rang. Sites were level and not too close. We stayed two nights and would stay here again
Reflects KOA rate plus tax. We stayed here 5 nights. Campground was undergoing quite a bit of upgrading so many sites were closed. Nice creek behind our site. Worker helpfulness was mixed depending on who was working. Be careful not to go in May - they have many cottonwood trees which drop sticky seeds that get all over everything and stain clothing.
Price is with Good Sam discount. Owners are very helpful and direct everyone into their site. We were there on a holdiay weekend so their were a lot of local campers who all knew each other. Sites are close but level. Wi-fi could be slow at times. Owner appears to have the only air compressor in town other than the bike shop. Trains go by frequently (day and night) and can be noisy. We stayed two nights and we would stay here again.
Pet friendly, dog bone given at registration. Owner made effort to place us away from some long term stayers who could get a little noisy. We had a leak and the owner came over and fixed it for us before we had to call in a repairman. Sites had trees and a lot of area to walk the dog. Owners were also helpful on advising us of some places to see before we left Bismarck. We would stay here again.
Campground is out in the open on top of a hill with no trees or "extras". We just used it for overnight so it was adequate. Storms were predicted and the owner told us where to go if we felt uncomfortable. We would stay here again
