Roads into camp are winding and tight for big rigs. Once inside camp there is a quite a large hill to climb where they advise keeping your speed to make it up the hill. Once in sites, very level, nice with many amenities such as putt putt and arcades. Only complaint is showers are push in buttons and as it releases it shuts off. Button must be pushed every 5 seconds or so. Additionally your temperature is set for you so you cannot adjust temperature. Showers are somewhere between lukewarm and warm.
Very nice clean camp grounds. The bath houses were very clean and with plenty of hot water. A good many of the sites were on a hill but the owners has done a good job of leveling them for the campers. Very friendly helpful staff. Nice big pool with kiddie pool, putt putt golf, and even a volleyball net.
The entrance is a little hard to see at night. The interior gravel roads need repairs. No hot water in the laundry. Has a nice pond toward the back but needs some cleaning up. Sites # 84 A, 84,86, 97,& 98 all face the dumpsters and the dump station. Site # 96 sits right by it. Was not a nice smell. The manager was very short and rude. It is a older campground with a little TLC it could be very nice. Would stay here again, but would definitely ask for a better site.
This campground is right beside the interstate so you would think there would be a lot of noise. But you would be wrong. Hardly any road noise. Nice clean bath houses. The young man in the office was very nice and put us in one of the only shaded spots they had. This is a great place for an overnight stay.
Very nice campground, good roads, nice staff. It is a little pricey but worth it. Didn't spend too much time in the campground because too many sights to see. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.
The bath house was locked so we couldn't get in to take a shower - ended up showering in the motorhome. The grass had not been cut even though it was the Labor Day . It is ok for an overnight stay, but would not want to stay longer.
Beautiful park. Nice big sites. This is a owner resort where they own the lots, but some are available for rental. We stayed in site # 79 which is right on the end point. You can either pull in or back in. We pulled in so we could face the bay. The sun rise was Awesome! Definitely worth the $214.30 for the weekend.
Nice campground, partial interior paved roads, two pull thru sites right on the water. Very nice wide sites. Nice for a stopping off point between Alabama and Georgia if you like to be off the beaten path.
Nice paved interior roads, well lit and well marked. They have what looks to be two pull thru sites, but most are backin. Nice grassy sites with a concrete patio. This is an adult only park. It is a good stopping off point when heading down to lower Fllorida.
This is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground. Nice, big, roomy, and clean sites. The lake is just a few yards away. This is the quite side of the lake. All paved roads and gravel level sites. The staff is very friendly.
This is in a gated community. The turn in is a little tight, but can be done. It has a dirt road leading into the campground, but it is very well maintain. The sites are gravel with lots of trees. There are a lot of permanent campsites, but they are mostly at the back of the property. All in all this is a nice campground if you just need a place to stay for a few days.
This is not an RV resort as is advertised; it is a fishing camp. Most all sites in this campground are permanent. They have very few beach sites for other campers and those are blocked by a sand dune. The interior roads are very narrow. Sites are too close together, and 50 amp service is only available on the beach sites. The bathhouses were not clean, and the shower only had a single on and off handle. Could not adjust the water temperature.
This is a wonderful place to stay. The owner met us upon arrival and directed us to our site. We had a problem with our steps and he gave us the name of the RV doctor. The park is very well maintain. The owner was very attentive to any thing we needed. He even loaned me his cell phone as mine wouldn't get out. We stayed in site #6 which is all gravel. But was a great site, it had shade all day long. We loved this camp ground so much, we have already booked for next Memorial week.
