We stayed in the full hook up sites, which are very nice, most have good shade, and a lot of room. This is a nice campground, with lots of sites, it has a well stocked camp store, and a boat ramp for the campground only. There is also a very nice beach, which is not really inside the campground area, but it is inside the Mounds area. It is a little far to walk to from the campground, but is a very short drive. This is one of our favorite places to camp.

We camped in one of the premium sites, which have an awesome view of the lake. Our cable didn’t work at the site when we arrived, but the staff did get the problem corrected by our third night. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. The bathrooms were very clean. When making reservations, beware that you must pay for your whole stay at that time, and that there are no refunds in case of cancellation, only rescheduling in the same season.

This is a very nice state park, with lots to do. There is a boat ramp for the campers, and boat docks also. They have a putt-putt course, basketball and a sand volleyball court. They also have bike and canoe rentals. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. Most of the sites are large and roomy, with plenty of space between you and your neighbors.

This is a great family campground, with plenty to do for everyone. There is a stream/small river that flows through the park that is a blast to float down in a tube {which are available at the camp store for $13}. There is also an inground pool. The place was very clean, and the staff were friendly. I can't wait to go back again. The park fills up fast, and reservations should be made well in advance during the summer months.
