Nice, clean park. Self check-in system accepting cash only. There are no refunds so you really need to manage your schedule while there. Nice, level gravel pull thru sites but you have to drive across grass strips to access these sites. There was quite a bit of rain in the area which made driving in the grass messy but manageable. Campground Host was helpful & friendly. Would stay here again if in the area.
This is a Thousand Trails Park. Easy to get to and get around in. Big rig friendly in most cases. They have a good set-up for loading/unloading golf carts. It would be nice if these parks would provide a similar set-up for loading/unloading motorcycles. I was surprised that they did not have many recycling efforts in place, however they did have a aluminum can disposal container in front of the adult lodge. All-in-all, a nice park.
Stayed for 8 days & really enjoyed the stay. Management was very friendly & helpful. Restrooms & showers kept very clean. Place is also motorcycle friendly which was important to me, but no noise problems. This is one of the best KOA's I've stayed at.
Spent 2 weeks at park while riding the Natchez Trace Parkway via motorcycle. I'm a Thousand Trails member which explains the nightly rate. The exterior roads are getting rough and need some attention. For the most part the interior roads leading to the sites were OK. There is a shortage of rest rooms and I counted only 5 washers and 2 dryers for the entire park. Very few pull thru's and only about 25%-35% of the sites have sewer connections. Plenty of dump sites throughout park. The park and the sites were clean, the workers very friendly, and the lake was beautiful. I enjoyed my stay and would return.
This is an older park that is part of the Escapee's system. Everything was clean and management was friendly. Two compliants I had was their cable did not seem to work as advertised, and their electrical system could not handle running the air conditioner (it was very hot the 3 days I was there) and any other high demand appliance (water tank heater) at the same time. Laundry room was very clean also.
This is a great park located at the start of the Cherohala Skyway. Park is clean and well maintained. Everyone in office very helpful and friendly. Not much shade now but in a few years the nice trees they have planted at each site will offer shade. If you like motorcycle riding, this is a great riding area. Will return.
Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting friends nearby. Park was very clean and well maintained. Laundry room was clean and everything worked. This is an RPI park so the nightly rate was $8.00. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed in this Northern Indiana park while visiting some friends. Lots of RV factories in the area. Close to Shipshawana which is a very large flea market. Very large Amish population in the area. Park is nice and well managed. TV reception is lousy. Will stay here again.
Nice park in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Everything clean and well maintained. Nice area to explore. Not all sites have sewer. Dump site did not have a regular water faucet to work with, instead had a hose (looked like an air hose) with a sprayer nozzle on it. Would not work with my Sewer Solution unit. Would stay here again if in the area.
This was an OK park for a couple of nights. Could be tight for larger rigs. The seasonal sites looked run down. They had old time electrical boxes that I've not seen before, but the service was OK. If I were back in the area I would look for another park to stay in.
This is an RPI park near Julian. Very nice park. Easy to get around in, they only have a few pull through sites. A park employee escorted me to site and helped guide me into back-in space. Beautiful views from the "Eastern Ridge" of park. Routes 78 & 79 are good 2 lane roads that weave through the mountains in that area. I had no problems negotiating the curves/hills with my 5th wheel. Julian, CA is a great town to explore. Will stay here again.
This is the best RV park I've stayed in. Rate was actually $14 per night for 1st 5 nights, then increased to $25 a night. All sites are back in but a park employee escorts you to the site and helps to guide you into site. Park very clean and well maintained. Snow birds had left during my stay so most sites were not occupied. This is a 55+ park. They have a great executive golf course on premisis. All interior roads were paved and large enough to handle the largest rigs. This park will be hard to beat.
Park is OK if you're not going to be there most of the day. Some shaded sites, most are out in the open. Gravel sites, everything worked OK. Would stay there again if in the Deming area. The price was very reasonable.
Nice KOA. They have been doing some upgrades to utilities & sites. Gravel sites. Typical KOA as far as site room goes. Our row (sites 13-23) was next to a Travel America truck stop. Although there is nice landscape seperation you could hear truck noise all night. I'm not a light sleeper so the noise didn't bother me. Good place for an overnight stay.
