Was ranked fairly well with others but we found it not to our liking. Staff was friendly, however, wi-fi is very limited to first few rows only and the "coveted" facing the green belt locations are now blocked with an array of derelict trailers and vehicles that appear on longer (at least monthly) stays. One of the occupants right out our window urinated on a tree next to his site. Overnight OK since there are few to choose from . . . but more than a late evening, I would not go again.
Not real happy with this ex-KOA campground. It is in dire need of some attention. Lots of high grass, the dog runs were literally waist high in weeds and broken glass on the trail. Their wi-fi is a joke and only readable if you are next to the building. Basic rate is only $19 but they add on everything to bring it up to $29 and change. Very disappointing and only good for a quick overnight stop.
We loved this Park, nicely wooded sites, friendly staff, immaculate rest rooms and wonderful biking and hiking trails. The Mill tour is a do not miss. Very awesome spot. Stayed on a Motorhome (40') in a back in, heavily wooded. Check their website first, they have photos of all sites. Delightful Park system in MO.
Owners come on very strong about "rules" but do lighten up considerably if you appear friendly. Caution, wi-fi available but no cell service or pay phone which we find unacceptable with an aging mother at home we have to check up on. Nice run area behind the park for dogs to play, but they do not like larger dogs and will put in you a separate area of the park if you have one. One other hot button, the staff was cutting the lawn on a loud riding mower until 8pm, difficult for quiet enjoyment of the park. We would stay again if they would put in a pay phone.
