Terrible campground. Their pull-thur sites are in the middle of a field, muddy field. It was so un-level, it was a joke. There is no common area on the river. Lots of year-round people live here, which takes up almost all of the river front lots. The host, if you want to call her that, was not helpful at all. We asked where our site was and she just points to the field and says: oh, just pull out there anywhere. Don't stay here. I would not stay here again.
I would not consider this a big-rig friendly campground. There were several limbs that scratched our motorhome. The sites were very small and all the picnic tables were at a slopping angle, don't know how you could sit there and eat. There was no manager when we checked in, so we just picked a site. No one ever came by to welcome us or anything else. I had to hunt them down to pay to leave.
Good park for an overnight. Their premier sites are very few, and not a tree around them. Very small cook-out area. The campground is in the middle of a cornfield, that's all you see. Interior roads are pretty muddy, little gravel if any.
This campground is spotless. The grounds are very well kept. The staff is very professional and helpful. The only draw-back is there are few trees and no privacy: you are just stuck on top of one another.
The sites at this campground were very tight, just did have room for our slides. Noticed other people in big rigs returning to the office for a different site. Not really a good cook-out area. The staff was helpful and pleasant. It was just a little run-down looking. If I were in the area I might look for a different campground next time.
One of the nicest campgrounds I've stayed at in a long time. The sites were so nice: private with plenty of shade and room to cook-out and relax. It's almost like you have your own yard and not looking into your neighbor's window. They have a cute little store. The lake was nice, and had boat rentals. Staff was very helpful. Really enjoyed it.
Everything here was nice. I don't understand these waterfront campgrounds that are all back-ins. I would think the purpose of being on the water is so you can enjoy the view. The host was pleasant, but not really that helpful: every time I ask for directions, she knew nothing. It's a clean park. Would stay here again and do recommend it to others.
