This was a perfect campground for our purposes. We went there to ride the trails in our ATV and had access to most of the trails we wanted from the campground. It was windy and dusty but that is Moab. I thought for the price it was fine. Lots of friends recommended it and we will camp there again.
We stay here several times a year and in the past couple of years have been very disappointed, however we just found out that this campground was going through ownership changes which included being bank owned for a time. The new owners just took over and apparently have some improvement plans for the near future. The workers were very friendly and and the vibe seemed to be different this time. I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds for this campground as it is one of our favorites.
This is a very pretty and well maintained KOA, nice landscaping, level concrete pads, easy pull through and back in spaces. The only drawback is the steep grade and one hairpin turn getting up to the campground. Even though you are in the mountains the parkway is very close so you have road noise all day & night and there is an apartment complex right next to the campground. I would stay there again, because it is such a short distance from the city but you are still away from it all.
We stopped here on our way through to Sturgis, this was a nice pleasant RV park, clean and quiet. There is a nice paved walking path which goes along the canal back into a residential area, for a nice walk after dinner. The price was very reasonable. Nothing fancy but great for a quick stop over. We will most likely make this a yearly stop.
This is one of the nicest KOAs that we have stayed at. It is clean, quiet, friendly and lots to do, or just hang out and enjoy the nice grounds. Cement, level pads, grass between each site, very well kept. Close enough to run into the city if you need to but far enough out to not hear any traffic noise at all. We will definitely be back time and time again.
We stayed a week at this campground. Initially we were not so sure as when we pulled up it seemed to be in an industrial area. However it turned out to be a really nice campground, quiet and secure with big sites and easy access to major freeways. The staff was not overly friendly, but we were not in the office very often. One of the workers stopped and chatted with us which is always nice. It was close enough to downtown, and they give directions at check in to the local grocery store and WalMart. Overall was a nice experience and we would stay there again if ever in the area.
