This is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed at and we have been to a bunch. It looks like it had been renovated or newly built this season. Overall the park was clean, the pads were level and the picnic area and tent pads were very nicely built. We did have limited hot water in the showers but it appeared that maybe they were using solar panels to help with this and it was overcast much of our visit. We would definitely recommend this park.
The restrooms and showers were clean and there was almost enough hot water for everyone in our family. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sites were level and easily accessible. The highway noise was pretty bad and the local construction was extensive.
We didn't care for the campground layout where you basically pull alongside the road and the camper opens to the road. The trash dumpsters were overflowing. The showers were new or newly remodeled and were clean and hot although the water spray was so strong that it was uncomfortable on the skin. We usually try to stay in State and National Parks first, then private campgrounds before selecting a chain, but we would not go back if we are ever in the area again.
