No problems with the Wi-Fi for 4 days. Simple sign-on, unlike the cranky Tengo systems used at many other parks. I would call this a basic, no frills park, but it's right in downtown Jackson, which means everything is close by. Also, it's quite quiet because it's back off the main drag.

Yes, it's pricey. Yes, it's worth it. Everything is top notch. How about all-new high efficiency washers and large capacity driers? Water is so good that we are going to fill every bottle we can find to take with us. I wish that the owners of all those marginal facilities that abound around the country would visit here and take a hint. West Yellowstone is a great little town also. It's a Win-Win.

I agree with the other recent reviews. Clean and close to restaurants and shopping. Very quiet for the location. It is 90 minutes to the Northern Entrance of Sequioa/Kings Canyon N.P. via Rt. 180. Our rate was based on a one week stay. We would stay here again.

I agree with the 3 previous reviews. This park is located just a few blocks South of "Downtown", and there is good shopping and eating nearby. It is remarkably quiet considering its location, due mainly to the fact that the street it's on has light traffic. We stayed a week.

Nice & quiet! What a treat. My first "10". Located about 5 miles from Oakhurst, which has a nice selection of restaurants and shopping (Much better than Mariposa). Most sites are shaded by mature trees and have ample grass medians between them. Overlooks the golf course and the foothills. The roads and sites are all paved. Tight roads coming in from Route 49 and they warn against rigs over 40 feet, but I had no trouble with a 38 foot motorhome. Rates are better than reasonable. For additional twenty dollars a day you can access swimming pool, fitness center, and tennis courts at the golf center. We stayed a week and paid $205 plus tax with Good Sam discount for a 50 amp. Full hook-ups on a back-in site. No cable, no broadcast reception. Would probably need a portable dish because of trees at most sites.

Previous reviews give a good overview. One added note is that there is a large gazebo at lots 1&2 that houses at least 100 bird nests under its roof. If you park near it, you will find that the birds enjoy target practice on your vehicle. The road noise is considerable at all hours.

New addition to KOA system. Very large grass sites, but uneven and may have leveling problems. No nearby railroad and light traffic on nearby roads at night, but there is constant barking from dogs in downscale mobile home park next door. Promised Wi-Fi did not reach my premium (50 Amp/FHU) site. Owner stated that it is on the list of things to come.

Agree with previous posts. No cable TV. We were able to get only 1 OTA channel in English, and the reception was choppy. (Love that new digital TV: NOT). Wi-Fi was weak and spotty, but reasonable with a laptop in the laundry room. Nice views to the north and south of mesas about five miles away in both directions. Rate included a 20% discount.

Based on other's reviews, we were disappointed. At check-in the entry driveway was crazy with just 3 units trying to check in. Our unit almost got hit by another because the guide was unable to make simple decisions in routing. When we got to our site, I had to stand in at least 4 inches of puddle to get my electric hooked up. There were many puddles because of poor drainage. Medium level of noise from the nearby Interstate. The view of the little "lake" - I would call it a pond - was limited and sites directly overlooking it seemed to be all long term residents. There was no night security lighting in our area of the park.

Most professional staff we have ever dealt with. Road noise from 10 lanes of high-speed traffic just outside of grounds is the only reason we don't rate it a 10. Lots of shopping and great restaurants nearby. Downtown Austin is only a few miles away. We liked the resort and Austin so much that we stayed 2 weeks rather than our planned 1.

1. Close to center of the city. 2. Metro bus stop in front of facility. Fare to city is $1.10 (Feb. 2012) 3. Many shade trees and song birds. 4. Very quiet. 5. Restaurant on site. 6. Sites are level and not crowded together. 7. Clean and well-maintained.
