Nice park and very convenient to the city. All gravel sites but clean and good size. Water and power were good. We found this park quiet but we were there in the middle of the week and there were not a lot of campers around. We would stay here again.
This is a clean rv park but the hookups are side by side so my hookups were on the wrong side of my coach and there was no place to move to so the hookups would be on the correct side. Had to change from a 50 amp to a 30 amp because I did not have a 50 amp extension. Wifi was good as was the power and water. Cable service is also available for $4 per night. Lots of channels but no major sports channels.
This is a very nice small RV park. Very convenient to Digby, Port Royal area, and driving down the Neck. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a full hookups and power was OK. Wi-Fi worked good except when the park was full then it was a little slow. We did not use showers or restrooms. We would stay here again.
Very convenient to Yarmouth. We had a good size pull-through site. We had a full hookups. Power was a little low but no much different than other parks we visited in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. Although the staff said Wi-Fi did not work throughout the park it was good at our site. We did not use the restrooms or showers. We would stay here again.
Very convenient to Halifax, Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, etc. We had a large shaded pull through site. We did not use the showers or restrooms. WiFi worked OK once we learned how to use it. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
This was a good park. Power was good and Wi-Fi worked good. Very quiet campground while we were there. we understand that it can be very noisy on the weekends. Very convenient to Sherbrooke Village Museum, which is a really good thing to do. Also if you have auto problems we received great and timely service from the Irving station in Sherbrooke. Fair prices and good quality work.
This is a nice RV park. Roads are good. Park is clean. We had friends meet us and rent one of the cabins and they are definitely priced too high. Wi-Fi was good and when it went down the staff was quick to respond and reset. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Power was a little low but worked pretty good. Convenient to Cabot Trail and Baddeck. We would stay here again.
We sent 5 1/2 weeks touring Newfoundland in our motorhome and this was the best RV park we stayed in on our entire trip. The power is good, water is good, and Wi-Fi worked good. The park is clean and well kept up and the management is very friendly and always trying to please their customers. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it as a stopping off point going to or from the Nova Scotia ferry.
We spent 2 nights at this park and it was fine. We had a pull-through site with good power, water, and Wi-Fi. We had friends stay in one of the cabins and they said the cabin was nice and clean. We would stay here again.
Power and water were good, and showers and restrooms were clean and large. Wi-Fi worked very good except for some downtime due to a power outlet problem. My only issue here was that I reserved a full hookup but when I arrived was told there were none available.
We stayed here two nights. Park was nice with good power and water. Wi-Fi worked well. Shower and restrooms were clean. The roads in this park are terrible. The potholes must have gotten worse since the previous review. When you have signs printed saying "if you splash water when going through a pothole you are speeding" tells me they have this issue all the time. The owners should drive a motorhome over these holes rather than a pickup truck to see what they can do to the coach. I also was disappointed that I reserved a full hookup but could not get one when I arrived. I was told some people had not left when scheduled so I could not get a full hookup.
We stayed here 4 nights in a motorhome. Very nice park with water and electric. The wifi worked OK at our site but there were some sites where it did not work. Roads are good. Park is clean. Dump station is very convenient. They have entertainment on weekend nights during the summer. This is a nice park and we would stay here again.
This was a nice park. We had water and electric with wifi at our site. Road into this park was the worst I've ever been on. They should fill the potholes. Also the dump station is outside the park but convenient to the main entrance road. It would have been helpful to know that before we got settled because driving back out that road was not fun. That is really the only negative we had concerning this park. If they fix the road we would stay here again.
This was a fair place to stay. We had full hook-up but Wi-Fi was only available at the office. Roads were OK. Restrooms were again OK. Not bad but old. Staff was very nice and helpful. We traveled here in a 36' RV and would stay here again.
Nice location in central St. John's. A little expensive but we did have a full hook-up and Wi-Fi, which worked very well. Park is clean and roads are OK. We traveled here in a 36' RV and would stay here again.
We stayed here 2 nights. We also had a tent site. Very nice park. Small, quiet, and right on the water. We had full hookups and WiFi. Restrooms and showers were cleanest we've run into on Newfoundland to date. We definitely would stay here again. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.
Stayed here 3 nights in a motorhome and we also had a tent site. Park was nice and clean. Staff was friendly, Wi-Fi worked good, and we had a full hookup. Good location to visit Gros Morne park, which we feel is a must. Price was due to receiving a discount for our Coast to Coast membership.
We stayed here 3 nights in a motorhome and we also had a tent site. Only negative was we had to boil water before drinking. Park is quiet and a good location to visit L'anse aux Meadows site. Office was very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi worked good. Had a wonderful breakfast in the office. We would stay here again.
