This park is a 10 for the Yukon. Sites level and wide carved out in a spruce forest. The showers are the cleanest and brightest that I have ever seen at a CG. The cable WORKS with 60 plus channels. The WiFi WORKS with a very strong signal. Good rules, laundry is immaculate, good store no problems with the power. We will return on our way back home.
This place is the absolute pits. We needed to stop because of mileage and the fact that there are no other CG in the vicinity. They gave me a dangerous site that was between two of their permanent residents. Do not stay here if you value your safety. The sites are all mud and far from level. The staff was indifferent to the state of their park. Avoid at all cost.
Cannot say enough about this little gem. Campers may use the facilities in the hotel. Staff very friendly. Sites nice and level and wide with lots of green grass. We will return on our way back from Alaska.
There are not many choices in this area. This RV park is more like a housing area for the locals. Loaded with RV's that are trying to be long-term housing. Sites are narrow and very soft. Was not worth the money at all. Could not wait to leave. Would NEVER return.
Staff is friendly. Hookups are strange, depending on the site the sewer is extremely close, while the power is very far away. In fact we had a 30 amp site and needed to put two cords together to reach power. The campground does not supply the shuttle to the ferry, they call the ferry and they send their shuttle out to pick you up. The site had enough room for slide outs grass is really worn away from over use. Location is good to all tourist areas.
This is an older KOA. Our site was crushed rock and pretty level. The CG is about 4 miles from the interstate, closest grocery store is about 12 miles away. I think the CG is over priced: many empty sites. Staff is friendly and you get an escort to the site. The lake is very green with weeds. We would not attempt a swim even though it was pretty warm. We stayed here because it was the closest CG to end our daily drive. Ok for 1 or 2 nights.
We had a river front site, #1 which was just beautiful, but the rest of the CG is very run down from over use. The bathrooms and showers were always wet and dirty. I think the showers and bathrooms are inadequate for the number of people there. Desk people are friendly, only 3 miles from downtown Niagara Falls. Probably would not return in the future.
The park is part of a hotel complex. Right across the street from the lake. Sites are so close together that we could not open our awning without hitting the trailer next to us. Our trailer is 29' and it was tight getting in and out. Staff was friendly. Probably would not return.
Gem of a park. It is on the smaller side but laid out well. They set the standard for KOA, with all the little things they do for the campers. For example, we pulled in to register it was hot, the owners both came out with two bottles of cold water for us and immediately escorted us to our site. They said when you are ready come back to register. We had a premium site with a gas grill, and a covered patio swing, fire pit and beautiful shade trees. The concrete pads are very nice and level. Owners are GREAT people, watch for their two dogs on the roof, they play ball with you!
Very nice park. Sites are level and large. I would have rated it a 10, but I have never seen such a high concentration of dogs and owners who let their animals do what they want where ever they want. Far too many motorcycles in the park, really hurts the environment. The staff is very accommodating and location is good. I wish the staff enforced the dedicated pet walk area to the owners.
The only reason we stayed here was to experience a hot spring and indeed it was a wonderful experience. I really don't think the owners take the RV side of this park seriously. The pull through sites are just marked off areas in an incredibly dusty dirty parking area. The showers were just gross. We paid for two nights but left one day early because i was so disappointed with the environment. We would never return. Cannot recommend this park at all.
When we arrived our site was still occupied so the manager let us take a different site. The resort is immaculate, the staff works very hard and takes pride in how the park presents. The Snake river is beautiful, the back ins along the river are worth the extra money. We would return again with no hesitations.
What a beautiful park. The owners pay attention to detail of the park and it shows. Staff very organized and helpful. Sites are pretty level for being gravel. We would return if we come through here again.
This is a cute family CG, 2 blocks from the downtown area. The owner (husband) could rub you the wrong way, but he is OK. He helped me back the Montana into a site that I could never do myself. The first person there pulls in, then you back in, they are not traditional pull-through sites. Other reviews talked about being dirty, we didn't see this. We would come back.
We had to set up our trailer in the mud. I know it rained but the sites are not maintained. There are no shower or bathroom facilities in the park. I call them like I see them, this is a pit. We had to stay here because it was the only place in the immediate area, would never return. Beware.
First impression was just great! We were greeted by a very friendly staff, check in was quick and painless. They escort you to your site, and waited to see if everything was OK with the selected site. Our site included free cable TV. I hooked it up and it was terrible. I thought about just setting up the dish, but first to the store for a treat. I asked the staff if the cable had any issues, they said they thought everything was working. By the time we returned to our site the manager had his "test TV" hooked up and said there was a problem and he would fix it right away. In 15 minutes we had a great signal. Sites are gravel and level, a little road noise but nothing we couldn't handle.
Very nice RV park. Sites are on a hill next to casino, you need to be self contained as there are no bathrooms or showers. We stayed here for two days on our way back home. They have a problem with cracking concrete pads but they are repairing them. Sites are wide and long and easy to get into. They give you $10 back for the first night. Pretty area of Iowa. Would return in the future.
There are not many choices for parks in this area of Kansas. They were a KOA years ago. Bathrooms were terrible. Park has many permanent residents living there, to me this is not a good sign. We would not return and cannot recommend this park.
This park is everything we hoped for. It was our home for a week, and everybody who works there are very customer oriented. It is important that they meet all your needs and they did just that. Very friendly and made you feel welcome. Showers and bathrooms were immaculate tiled with stone! Location to Williams was perfect, walk across the railroad tracks and there you are. We would return again. Cannot say enough of the great time we had here.
One of the finest RV resorts I have ever seen! The rates were amazing for all the services they rendered: free internet, free laundry. The bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen. I would highly recommend this park for a day or a season!
Not many choices for this town. I made a real mistake staying here. Looks like a husband and wife team as owners. The wife was very nice. The park in her words is really a 50's park, that is an understatement. The few sites that could accommodate our rig were very small and difficult to navigate. The husband was actually very rude and not helpful. We cannot recommend this "RV park" even for one night.
This is a very poor example of a KOA. It looks run down, and the sites not really level. My site had broken glass under the trailer, which I noticed after we set up. I told office they said "what type of glass"?? We would never return. There are loud city noise and sites so close together that we could not lower the awning.
It is a very beautiful KOA. We had one of the open grassy sites, and it was well worth the expense. Breakfasts are poor, but the suppers are great, especially the ribs. You need to be careful in the grassy sites as they water every night. We will return.
Its true, the strangest layout for a park! I was lucky and arrived around noon, so we were the first trailer on the island. I pulled in and out ok. But I would not stay there if I had to parallel park my 32' 5th wheeler, between other parked rv's! Staff was very friendly. There is a nice lounge and casino. The park was not quiet because of highway noise.
Whats real about this campground is the beautiful view, no doubt. The sites are extremely close together and can be very rough and uneven. We could not open our awning at all because of the very narrow spaces provided. It can be a rather noisy place with lots of bikers. The restaurant is very overpriced and home style means very small servings, and the menu is very limited. We were there for three days, would not return if other parks in the area were available.
