If a view were the only rating it's a 12! Tiered parking overlooking Amish farmland and rolling hills. Gorgeous! Good water pressure, cable, sewer, WiFi non existent. Level tiered sites, gravel. We had a pull through. Good security, quiet, peaceful, nice hosts, well groomed park. Close to Lancaster, and shopping, far enough away to be serene. This is a destination spot for us and will definitely return! Give it a try!
Would be a higher score, except no pool and some gnats this year. Not terrible but a bit annoying. Owner keeps this park really neat, clean and mowed! We really like the entertainment facility that he has with some excellent entertainment, and cook outs! Laundry is excellent, in a nice club house with TV and WIFi that works well. Most sites have nice fire pit and table and owner has wood right there. Verizon does well here but ATT is not good at the park. Stayed here last year for 3 weeks, this year a month. A month ranges from 499 to 699 per month depending on location in the park. We were in # 37 and it was nice. No shade but lots of nice lawn space between sites! Great concrete pads, all pull through with plenty of length for big rigs! Overall, we recommend this RV Park as a nice base for an extended stay and sightseeing spot for NC, Northern GA, and Tennessee. We WILL definitely stay here again!
Host met us and led us to a site. Some sites need to be graded and leveled. We selected a site other than originally selected to get close to level. Host was very accommodating. There is a motorcycle store next door and you are right on the highway, however, the noise level not bad and very little after 6 PM. All gravel sites, hookups ok, had to put extension on sewer hose to reach. Length is tight for our 36 with car on dolly, but just fit. Overall, a fine little place to do a one-nighter on a road trip. We would stop there again.
All in all decent place. Staff friendly and helpful. WiFi and cable were good. Sites are a bit close together. Amenities were nice, and general store nice. Nice dog park. Very easy on off hwy with fuel station right by the park. Site not really level enough for me, and sewer location pretty far away. This was a pull through but barely accommodated our 36 feet with toad.
Convenient on/off hwy, gas station close by. Tight maneuvering but we managed with our 36 and a toad. Quiet place, level gravel site, full hookup. Overall a decent place for an overnight in a wooded setting.
All the recent reviews are basically correct. Nice place with a few things that were not the best. Our site was a bit down hill and sewer hook ups don't work well going up inclines. During rain a bit muddy because sites are basically dirt with smattering of grass. Very wooded, with roads a bit narrow but navigable slowly and carefully. Water pressure good, cable channels limited but worked well. Wi-Fi was very slow and mostly nonexistent. Steep entrance but asphalt road so not bad. Check-in office convenient, and the personnel are wonderful! Very clean facilities with excellent laundry. If you like woods, and don't mind an occasional train whistle, then this is a good place to stay. Figure on some front wheel pads to take the incline out of your motorhome in this hilly setting and you'll be fine. Mosquitoes are tough here so bring some yard spray and repellent in summer months. Store has good camping supplies, dog park is nice, amenities for kids are good. This is a family friendly park. Overall, an enjoyable stay. We will come back again.
I read the other reviews but here is my take on this park. If you don't care about your paint your all set. Seems the town, that you must drive through doesn't trim trees wide or high enough for class A's. Not easy to get to. Narrow city streets, cable awful reception, low hanging trees, and we followed their directions! Rough dirt and gravel roads, and very narrow. Grass pull thru, not very level, no pad, Bugs galore. Never told ahead of time that there is an additional fee if you use your air conditioning. That was a surprise at check in. Next surprise, NO 50 amp service in the pull thru, only in back ins, and another additional charge for that! Wifi very weak. Just a weird backwoods kind of place. Seedy looking. Would not recommend or return.
Told them we had a 37 ft with a dolly and car in tow. About 60 ft. Got there and the only pull thrus that would work were marked for 70 ft plus! Took one anyway. All the other pull thrus were too short, not level asphalt in rough shape. Didn't much matter since it had been raining and many of the sites were under water! I don't do 50 amp hookup in the middle of a lake! Roads are way too small and poorly laid out. More rules than Alcatraz ! Small dog section, big dog section! They have to be kidding. Restrooms and showers are clean. Wi-Fi is a joke! Too weak to sign on. Cable is very basic, water pressure is a joke too! Won't stay here again.
Traffic noise is considerable and starts at 4am till midnight and later. Nice views, sites are a bit close together. We found it tough to sleep for the traffic noise and naval base nightly practice range use. Expensive considering location to main drag and associated considerable noise. Close to all kinds of shopping, restaurants, and Navarre Beach which is beautiful!
Narrow roads within park. Narrow pads some concrete, some gravel. Some low branches over inner roads. Very little lighting. OK for an overnight, but not for long term in my opinion. Sites are very short if you have a toad or dolly.
