Had all the amenities, but seemed a little run-down, maybe due to the time of the year and nothing was green. As was said, cable was limited, WiFi was slow. Staff was friendly, and they had a small fenced dog park. Well stocked store with RV supplies. Our site was level, but needed paving. Hard to get sewer hose to run downhill due to landscape timbers around the hookup. We stayed here on way from Florida: this price was more than down there. We will stay here again due to good location.
This is a great park, complete from friendly helpful staff, good Wi-Fi & cable, paved sites and a beach on the sound. We're here for two weeks, so rate reflects that price, including a discount they are offering. Residents are also very friendly.
Large park on river. Entrance hard to find and leads through a rough looking neighborhood. Large concrete level sites. Gravel roads are dusty. Cable TV is limited but adequate. Wi-Fi didn't work during our 5 nights and they didn't seem interested in fixing it. Lots of room to walk. Can walk along river walk to town. Should have a fenced dog run since there is so much room. Best sites are in far south end with river view - but you have to ask. We'd come again just for the setting and view.
Park not as expected: some confusion with old Deer Creek name that is now an exclusive RV resort next door. Cable is limited. WiFi didn't work for a time, but was fixed. No amenities or shade. Hook ups were fine and sites were large. We'd stay here again because there is nothing else nearby that is available.
Gave us site that had someone in it. No escort to site even though roads are narrow and confusing. We had to wait for them to leave. Roads all dirt, so between golf carts and wind, sitting outside was uncomfortable. Wi-Fi worked well. Large mats in our site that were not fastened down, and blew in wind. We'll stay somewhere else on our next trip. Probably a good place for kids.
Beautiful park, most sites along stream, all back-in. Didn't want dogs going potty on grass and lots of other rules. Lady checking us in seemed a little "testy". Did have a fenced dog park. Was charged $10 early check in fee before noon - it was 11:15. We got a deluxe site which was huge. Problem with water pressure which was going to be fixed the day we left. WiFi was satellite and slow. Cable TV was limited. We'd go again.
Good WiFi and cable TV. Sites are narrow. Couldn't walk beside the coach with the slides out because of trees. The fire ring in the next site is about 3 feet from side of our coach. Roads are dusty. They tried to put me in small back-in site next to dumpster. Lots of construction. Broken sewer connection in our site: hook ups are far away. Several dogs running loose as there is no enforcement of policy. Too pricey for what you get, but so is everything up here. Maybe when all the work is done it will be nice, but not now.
It has clean restrooms, great WiFi, and plenty of over the air TV channels. The sites are level, with some shade. It is convenient to I-24. There are friendly staff. There is some traffic noise from freeway.
Rate included cable. Wi-Fi and cable were great. Level sites - little shade. Right on highway. Trailer park next to site had lots of traffic in and out. Didn't feel like a typical campground. We were going to stay two nights, but decided not to. Only good for a night's stop rather than a place you want to stay for awhile. You can't see the historic park from here, so don't know why the name.
A real pretty park and a good deal: especially for a city park. We camped next to the lake. Big level sites in our area. Some others don't look so level. Good cable TV. WiFi better a some times than others. We're staying for a few more days than we planned because it is so nice.
Level paved sites with large grass area around each one. Good WiFi. Cable TV a little extra $$. Very clean restrooms. Nice little store. Owners on site. Short walk over dune to beach. Could hear surf last night due to storm. Great value for this area. We'd stay here again.
Rate was Good Sam rate. Some sites are large. Others are just stuck on to take more RVs. We called a day ahead and were told they were full. A few minutes later they called back and said they had a cancellation. I thought that was good customer service. However, when we arrived, we were put in a place that did have hook ups, but did not seem to be a regular site. Little gravel, and dirt around camper, and no table. Wi-Fi was good, plenty of over the air TV channels. If you're lucky enough to get a good site, it could be a nice place. However, the crowded conditions make it unpleasant for us. Traffic noise from I-95 was not bad and I enjoyed the few train horns. We would not stay here again, but guess its OK for an overnight stop.
Unique park for dogs and their adult owners. Lots of fun things to do in various parks and hiking trails. Nice, attractive wide sites. Owners friendly and on-site. Cable TV had about a dozen channels. WiFi was DSL and very slow. Could use some more gravel in places. Restrooms/showers perfectly clean and comfortable. Our rate was Camp Club rate and had to be paid in cash. We hope to come back again as we and our dog loved it.
Very nice, clean, newer park. Wide level sites. Great internet and cable. Showers/restroom are clean. Park is nicely landscaped. We had a problem with our cable TV and the owner helped us isolate problem to our RV. We had traffic noise due to site we chose. We would definitely stay here again.
Pristine campground, great landscaping, friendly on-side owners. Wi-Fi didn't work one day, but fixed for the next. Not open yet, but still accommodated us and some others. Some barking dogs only negative.
The internet was only available from one place, and it is a long uphill hike to get it. It hardly worked satisfactorily. There were lots of young people tenting, and only one rest room open. That made for noise and crowds. The sites needed gravel. The sites next to river made for nice soothing sounds.
Rate is Golden Pass. Limited sites with water to RV until April 1. Restroom and showers in area we were in were closed. Rain prevented us from enjoying all the scenery area offered. We left after only one night although had paid for two. We would like to try again in better weather. No TV channels via antenna.
Huge park around a nice lake. Hardly anyone there this time of year. Many permanent sites, but area we stayed was across lake away from them. Friendly staff. New, clean restrooms. No cable and hardly any over the air channels. No internet at site - only near office. Great place to walk. Our rate was Camp Club rate.
Very friendly staff and super clean and neat small park. Cleanest restrooms and showers I've been in. Dog park and lots of clean up bags and cans around park. Only regret is that it rained and we could not stay longer. Would definitely stay here again.
As others have noted, this is just a big paved parking lot for the Georgia Agrirama, that has sites with hook ups for RVs. We were one of only two there. They have nightly security and room to walk around. That being said, it fit the bill for us and was not expensive.
Best park we stayed in on our 3000 mile trip. We got special rate 3rd night free, so we stayed 3 mights. Great beach to walk on just across road. Park is fairly new, so everything is neat and clean. They allow motorcycles, so occasionally we were bombarded with the loud roar of one. Small store and friendly staff.
This is primarily a residential park with mostly modular homes. They are renting RV sites to help with income. That being said, it is a gated park, paved roads, and paved sites. Lots of room to walk or bike and close to Everglades.
The name is a little exaggeration. We needed a 30 amp site. Site we were given had only 50 amp receptacles. We had to wait an hour for someone to bring us an adapter. Sites are too close. Park is not in the best part of town.
Nice park but mostly permanent residents. Hilly and sharp turns for big motor homes. Well kept, dog walking area. We got in after office closed, so couldn't get the code to get in restrooms. Had to drive around to find a spot with no map. Had to cross busy road to get to the beach.
There had been a small plane crash in the middle of the park, so parts were closed off. OK for a one-night stay on our way south. Lady stayed late so we could check in. Roads were paved and the site was adequate. Many permanent RV's and modular homes.
