We arrived late, after the office had closed, due to RV trouble. We had called the office to let them know of our late arrival, and they told us which campsite to use. The site wasn't marked very well for spotting at night, but after one circle around, we got there. It was very buggy outside, lots of misquitos. We spent a good amount of time killing them inside the coach. The showers were clean enough, but not nearly as nice as others we used on the trip. We were thankful for them though after a day of travel with no A/C. It is a nice spot if you can get a site on the riverbank. The resort is a bit of a walk. It didn't appear that people do a very good job of cleaning up after their dogs as my husband ended up "stepping in it" in the dark while hooking up.

We arrived late, due to bad directions from Mapquest. The owner was great about directing us there, and walked us to our site. It is a great campground, very quiet, yet not that far off the beaten track. The Hennepin Canal is a short pathway walk from the campsites. The little store is well stocked with everything from toys to RV necessities. There is a social room with game tables, a computer, pizza oven, hot drinks, and a slushy machine. The showers were great and the owners supply washcloths! We would definitely return to this campground if we never set foot in the RV again.

We arrived at the park pretty close to office closing time, very tired due to a very long and hard day going over mountains. The owner was there waiting as I climbed out of our motorhome, and was most sympathetic. We had a power outage problem in our coach the next morning and he was quite helpful. The laundry and shower areas are spotless. The WIFI didn't work that night, but it did work the next morning. The gift shop is very nice, and carries RV supplies as well as regional souveniers. Although we had only the time to eat dinner, do laundry and sleep, we did like the park and the owners. It was clean and quiet, and easy to find, in spite of some road construction near the exit we took to get to the park. Seeing as it was our third night ever in a motorhome, and the coach itself fought us all the way, we enjoyed our stay. On our way out of town, we did a little drive through the town, it is very clean and quaint.

We chose this park based on a review from this website. The owners are great, and there is an ice cream social nightly, just bring your own bowl, spoon, and for less than $2.00 it's all you can eat. There are arcade games available in the office/gift and necessity shop/social room. The showers were very nice, and very clean. It is very easy to find, you can see it from I-90. We give it a "9" instead of a "10" because the internet access wasn't available at our campsite. Otherwise, for our second night ever on the road in an RV, we were very satisfied. We even had our camper neighbors helping us troubleshoot a leaky hotwater tank problem.
