Very nice park with professional management next to 10 Mile Lake. Paved roads and paved/grass sites. Few trees - great for satellite dishes - but could be warm in the summer. Park is off the highway and quiet; roomy for big rigs; everything is well maintained.
We've camped here twice in our 40' big rig. It's a wonderful spot because of the resident Roosevelt elk herd that feeds and often sleeps in the meadows nearby. On our Sept. 2007 visit, the herd walked right through the motorhome section and many of them posed for photos. Even though the park is just off Hwy 101, we've found it to be quiet with friendly management. Great spot for wildlife; sites are in a large meadow.
This park is not suitable for big rigs, but we didn't check the RV Park Review on it beforehand. The last mile of road is too narrow, just barely room for a motorhome and maybe a small car to squeeze by. And no way to turn around until you arrive at the park entrance. Fortunately for us in our 40' big rig, they have a large parking lot and allowed us to dry camp there one night since it was off-season. Great area for rigs 30' or less if you like forests on a hillside.
