Have to disagree with the comments about small sites etc. We are here in a 43' RV, with many other big rigs and no problems. Clean as always. We are return visitors. Verizon is only 3g in West Yellowstone in spite of their maps. No campfires in town by city ordinance.
Nice spot on the river, close to town and the north entrance to Yellowstone NP. Picnic/tent area with nice grass on the river for use even if you have a back row site. Friendly managers were very helpful. A number of these sites are leased to seasonal park workers so a call for reservations is a good idea since not all sites are available each night. Very neat, clean park. There are a number of 50 amp sites, but be prepared for 30 amp, more of those it seems.
Owner was super friendly. We felt like our business was appreciated. This place has a different layout as noted, but it was very neat and worked for us. They have deep artesian well water: great experience. 42' RV and toad had no problem. Cool little town.
New owners, the ELS Group (TT/Encore/etc.) have jacked the rates for this marginal park. Trees entering park have not been trimmed, dragging on roof. Muddy interior roads, after only short rain. We have stayed here many years visiting friends close by, not again!! Resort prices for about a "2 of 10" campground. Oh yeah the wifi is "free".
