This is a hidden gem of a Casino RV Park. It's about 15 miles west of I-29 in Kansas corn country. We stayed here in the off season and there was no charge, during the summer there is a $5 nightly fee. Roads to and from Casino are narrow two lane country roads. All hookups are in very good condition. If in the area we will use again.
It's a place to park. Site was level, all hookups in OK condition. A little road, train and airport noise. Interior roads paved and in good condition. There were several long term residents that made us a little uncomfortable with their two very large dogs and condition of campers. We would probably use again if we need to be in Sioux Falls.
We stayed here for only one night on our way to Sioux Falls. The site we used was level and had 50 amp service and good water pressure. It was a concrete slab that we could stay hooked up on. Other sites are on grass in a nice shady area. The roads are good, the park is quiet and we felt safe as we were the only people on the fairgrounds at night. We would use this park again if we needed a night or two in the area.
This is a small Casino Campground. Free for three nights. Sites are large and level side to side with a slight pitch front to back. Casino does have a dump station. First come first served - no reservations. Narrow grassy area on side of parking spots. All paved roads. I would camp here again.
Camped here under Coast to Coast. Road is gravel but well maintained. Park over all is well maintained. Electric and water all worked fine. Site was level but could be tight if park is full. Very nice rural setting. The seasonals are not mixed in with the traveling RVers. Park is in a good location to visit many RV manufacturers or tour the Amish country side. We would use this park again.
Main road is very good. Camp site roads are gravel and need to be graded. Large drive thru sites. All hook ups worked but are in need of maintenance. Site slightly off level about three inches side to side. We were there 5 nights and every day had a sick acting skunk wonder around the RV's. Brought the skunk info to the maintenance attention and they could care less. The park could use some TLC. Would probably use again if in the area.
Park is pricey for what you get. Pull through sites in a level grassy field. It has full hook ups and is about 1/4 mile from I-10. Park is OK for a one night stop. All utilities worked fine. If in the area maybe would use again. Rate reflects passport rate.
This is a very friendly and well maintained park about 4 miles from the sugar white beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. All sites are parked on a concrete pad. Interior roads paved, the only issue is they have very large speed bumps about every 30 yards. The power was very good, good free Wi-Fi at all sites. All sites are full hookup. The price reflects the monthly rate. The spa does not have air jets so it is like sitting in a bath tub. The indoor pool was a little cool. Park is pet friendly with a lot of things to do in the area. Will use again.
This is a very well maintained park, just a short drive off of the interstate. You can tell the pride the owners take in their park. Water pressure is good, electrical connections and power are good, sewer connections are all in good condition. Sites are level with gravel pads. Interior roads are gravel with no pot holes. Wi-fi worked well. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. One day of our stay the owner walked over with fresh bean soup and biscuits for lunch and a short visit. The lake is small but clean, and there is a nice mowed area all the way around the lake. There is a sawmill across the road, but the noise was not bad. We would stay here again.
This is a very clean park. All concrete pads and roads. Staff was very friendly. Power and water was good. Pool was closed, but hot tub was open and well cared for. At this time of year all f the concrete was nice, it helped with the heat. But in the summer months all of the concrete has to be very hot. We would stay here again if in the area
This is a nice park with good interior roads. Sites are a little small for big rigs with slides. Power good, water psi good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean and maintained pool and hot tub. Typical southwest high desert dirt/gravel sites. Sites are not level but not hard to level units, had to raise side about 4 inches. We would use this park again.
This was our fourth time using this park and it appears this park is going to the dogs. They were barking all night. The power was good, Wi-Fi was good, and good water pressure. Interior roads are OK. The permanent's are starting to make the place look junky with old vehicles parked all over. The price is high for the condition of the park and the many flies from the near-by farms. We maybe would use again if in the area and could not find anything else.
The park would have gotten a 10 if the sites would have been level. They pitch as much as 8 inches front to back. Not a big deal except you can't stay hooked up. Very clean and well maintained park. Cable TV is very good. We would use this park again. Rate is based on internet coupon.
They park you in a small site even if they could space you out in other sites. The concrete pads are not level. We could not open the awning, there was only about seven feet between units. Very many workers in the park that drive too fast and make a lot of noise early in the morning. Probably would not use park again.
Some of the comments on the below posts are correct. Put the park is clean with a lot of trailers stored here. The rec room was clean as was the laundry. The site was large enough for our 40 foot fiver and tow vehicle to park. Electric was very good. The rate we paid is based on Passport America rates.
I have to disagree with some of the previous postings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This park is very well maintained. This is one of the few parks where the majority of the seasonal sites are very well taken care of and neat looking. Yes, the pull through sites are a little off level, but we are in a hilly area. The 50 amp power and water pressure was very good, and interior gravel roads are in good condition. This is a very nice park, and we would use this park again if in the area.
This campground is in a great location to see the Amish area around Lancaster. The size of the sites is OK for big rigs, but can be a little tight to back into if given a 500 site. The water pressure was good and the 30 amp service was good. The interior gravel roads are OK. The 50 amp sites with cable are more for their seasonal campers. That area is away from the traveling Rver. The WI-FI is a pay to use service. Our price reflects the Coast2Coast rate. We would use this park again if in the area, and I was given the discounted rate.
This membership park is located in a convenient area of the Adirondack Mountains. Our 30 amp electric was good, and site was level. The interior roads had many pot holes that very easily could be repaired. The sites were large and level, but water did not drain very well. We had a 2 inch deep pond around the coach after heavy rains. Many tree roots were sticking out of the ground that made the site very rough. But for the price we would use the campground again if we were in the area.
This is a very large campground with many seasonal campers that need some care. The interior gravel roads are poor with many pot holes. The electric was good, but the water was on a boil advisory. The few sites for the traveling persons are very wooded and hard to back into, too many trees and roads very narrow. There is no over the air TV, no cable TV, and satellite is difficult to set up. We would not camp here again.
This is a very well maintained park. The staff is friendly and helpful. The front sites are a little small for large rigs, but they have very nice sites behind the office area that can accommodate any size rig. The 50 amp service was very good, but the water pressure could be a little higher. The free WiFi worked great in coach, 66 channel free cable TV worked well. Our price reflected Passport rate. If in the area we would camp here again.
We camped here under Passport America rates. The entry roads are in need of some grading but are not the worst we have used. The sites are a little short for large units but they do have a few sites that will work for a 40 foot rig. The WiFi did not work at our site but our Verizon signal was very strong so we used that for the internet. There are many seasonal sites that could use some cleaning up. We probably would not camp here again.
Except for the rough gravel entry road and vehicle road noise during the day this is a nice park for the price. Large pull-through sites, 60 channel cable TV and Wi-Fi all worked well. The road noise all but stopped after dark. The views are awesome. When camping in the mountains you have to expect hills in a campground so we were not surprised with the short steep grade into the park. Any vehicle will make this entry no matter the size and length. Some of the pull-through sites are over 75 feet long and 25 feet wide. We would use this park again.
This was a great find in a very scenic area of Maine. I have to agree with the other post. Very nice sites with a friendly staff. Very well maintained camp ground. We stayed here under Passport America rates even over a holiday weekend. If in the area we would stay again. A very relaxing place to spend some time.
Just the average open field type campground. The view of the Bay of Fundy was very nice. The sites are level but too small for the big price paid. The neighbors sewer connection is about ten feet from your front door of a fifthwheel. When you put out your awning it is about two feet from your neighbor. Interior roads are gravel and well maintained. The 30 amp electrical is marginal when park is full, ours dropped to 106 volts. We would probably not camp here again.
This is a nice large park with large level sites and good interior roads. The water pressure was a little low and voltage a little low when operating the AC or electric water heater. Very quite and relaxing park. We would use this park again when in the area.
This is a very nice park with friendly staff. Sites are nice size and level. We did not have a low power or noise problem, but we did not use the park on a race night. The park's location makes a good home base to tour the island. The town road into the park is gravel and is very rough. We would use this park again.
Level sites with good electric and water. Interior roads in good condition. A negative against the park would be their fire pits. The park digs this 8 to 10 inch deep hole, about three feet in diameter right where you have to back into the site or where you need to park your tow vehicle. Makes getting in and out of the site with a larger unit difficult. We would camp here again. The price reflects the rate for a Coast to Coast Good Neighbor Park,
I would have rated this park higher but they still have not got the water tested. There are only about six sites that are not used by the seasonals. We used our water that was on board. The Provincial roads getting to the park are very rough. Except for the water issue this is an OK park. The rate reflects Passport America.
This is a very nice small campground. It is located about three miles from the main road. The entrance road is a little rough. Sites are average size. Power and water were good and staff was very friendly. Do not expect to get a waterfront site because these are all taken by seasonals. This is a place to just sit back and relax.
This is a nice park a short distance from Perce. The sites are a little tight. The power was good and the water potable. The views from the park are worth the price. Interior roads are gravel and in good shape. The entrance to the park is a little steep. We would camp here again.
This is an open feild campground. Staff was very friendly but spoke very little English. Sites were very large and only a short walk from the Saint Lawerance seaway. Interior roads a little rough. The power was good and water was OK to drink. The price reflects Passport America rates. We would stay here again.
Very nice Mom and Pop campground with large level sites. A well maintained park. Majority of the campsites do not have shade. Park is located about 1/2 mile from a major highway. Our rate reflects Passport America price.
Very nice wooded campground that is located several miles from traffic. Good gravel interior roads. The 30 amp electricity was ok with only a slight voltage drop. Majority of the sites were filled with seasonals. Campground located about six miles from shopping and fuel stops.
This is an old campground that needs work. Owners are friendly and helpful. Interior roads are good, but cable TV only worked on several sites. The bathrooms were clean but need to be upgraded. Wi-Fi was spotty and slow, but I could get it at our site. I feel the price is a little high for the quality of the park.
This park is off the beaten path, but worked well for us as we have family in the area. Many older seasonal sites that need some cleaning and repair. Very good electric, with good water pressure. Good asphalt interior roads. We will use again. Restrooms appear to be port-a- potties, so being self contained is a must.
A Great park that is very well maintained. The park has free laundry, Wi-Fi, cable, and allows you to wash your vehicles. All roads are paved and you park on a level concrete pad. The only draw back is the wind, but the park can't control that. The park is only about three miles from Amarillo so shopping is near. We had no problems with freeway noise even though park is located about 1/4 mile from I-40. We would recommend this park and we will use it again.
I agree with the other post, but for a place to stop it was alright. We had site 20 and were not affected by road noise. The staff was friendly on check in. We would use the park again for this price. If the price goes up we would move on to find a different park.
This is a very nice park that is off of the beaten path. The sites have 20, 30, and 50 amp service. Free 24 channel cable TV and Wi-Fi at the sites. The roads are well cared for and no over hanging tree limbs. The staff was very friendly upon check in. Our rate is based on Passport America's price. We visited in the off season so park was very quiet, but with the water park in the summer months this park could be very busy. We would use this park again.
This is a nice rural park. Very good power, but water connections are a long distance from your site. Park is well maintained with good paved roads. We will use this park again. Our camping rate was based on a weekly rate.
We camp here every summer. This is not a five star resort but a north woods campground. Most sites are adequate in size. The roads can get very dusty during dry weather. Owners are on site and friendly. Nice park to sit back relax, fish, and enjoy the rustic north.
