We had a site on the very top of the hill, overlooking the lake from a distance and other persons at the park. The park was very well maintained for a state park. There were wonderful sites for tents, very private - very busy place while we were there. We would return here. Personnel were friendly. We didn't have a Colorado State park pass, so we paid $60 for a yearly pass, which was fine.
I would give this park a 10 if there wasn't the pool situation. They had a nice pool, but they allow 'the locals' to use it, so the pool was full of kids everyday, all day long. Rather discouraging for those who paid for a space and would have liked to use the pool. The grounds were very well kept and were quite adequate.
Immaculate park grounds: I have never seen landscaping like this. There were so many flower arrangements throughout the park, between every site, along the streets and in corner spaces. Folks were friendly. We would definitely return here and would recommend it.
This park is along the Arkansas River - really nice and so well kept. The people are all so very friendly. There are many full-time residents there, with only one row of sites available to 'transients.' One would not know there were permanent folks in the park. There is a waiting list for those permanent sites - only upon ones death, do they change hands. We would like to return there. I highly recommend it.
This park was very well kept, and very convenient to the Glacier N.P. The facilities were immaculate, and personnel very accommodating and nice. The site sizes and spacing were very adequate: didn't feel crowded at all. I highly recommend this park. We were here for 2 weeks.
