"Pardon me, could you pass the Grey Poupon" is something you can definitely say in this park. You are packed in like sardines. Our slides almost touched our neighbor's RV and they could open their door, reach out and knock on ours. We were so crammed that we couldn't enjoy sitting outside or grilling and we could hear our neighbors walking in their RV. They messed up our billing terribly. They more than double charged us and after 3 phone conversations they still had not fixed it. The electrical on our site was broken. It took two trips to get the right person to fix it, and then they didn't have the right tools. So my husband used his tools. The only nice thing we have to say about this place is the help was friendly. WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. OVER PRICED AND CROWDED!
Park hosts very friendly, beautiful trees, large pull through sites some with fire pits, picnic tables. The swimming pool is older put very clean and we enjoyed it. There is a small, no-frills miniature golf course and a play ground. Close to freeway but because you are surrounded by corn fields you don't notice or hear it. The only complaint we have is that the owners grandchildren were riding around on an ATV with guns and shooting ground squirrels. We don't have a problem with the guns, we just felt it was not appropriate behavior in an RV park with people, pets, and expensive RV's around. Plus, who wants to listen to guns shooting when they are trying to relax.
This park was very clean, friendly full timers, friendly managers. We stayed a week so that our daughter could finish her on line schooling. The WiFi worked great. It doesn't provide tables, grills or fire pits because it's more of a "stop and rest for a few days" type of place, not a campground. We would stay again.
We stayed in this campground because it was close to our daughters house and we came to visit our new grandson. We stayed for 3 weeks. The camp hosts are very nice and helpful and I would give the little campground a 10 but can't due to the conditions of the bathrooms. The bathrooms are very primitive and dirty. One toilet had no seat, one sink was broke, no soap or paper towels. The showers offer little privacy, have push button knobs, no where to set your things and there were cigarette butts and old toilet paper on the floor. YUCK! We stayed in a treeless, gravel pull through. The space was huge and clean. They due have nice sites with trees but they aren't as big. Wi-Fi worked good but had terrible TV reception. Nice, quaint little park but if you stay here definitely bring your own potty and shower.
We stayed in this park for two days. The owner of the park was wonderful, very helpful and very friendly. The park is clean, has large spots and is filled with mostly full timers. We had a nice, large shaded spot with a big cement pad but it did take awhile to get level because we were on a hill and we did have difficulty getting into the site because it was on a hill. Noise from the highway is minimal and it is a short drive to a lot of shopping. The only reason we didn't give this place a 10 is because it doesn't have bathrooms and showers. We would stay again.
We only stayed one night because we were in a hurry to get to our daughter's college graduation in Illinois. We stayed in a large pull through site with shade. The gravel sites are cheaper. The pool and grounds are very nice. The bathrooms and laundry room are exceptionally clean. The staff is courteous. Our only complaint is that the entrance to the park is unsightly, very industrial looking and you are close to the freeway. We would stay again.
