What a pleasant surprise. Very nice State Park with spacious, flat, wooded camp sites. The best thing about this campground is the access to the Potomac. Amazing scenery (stunning!), fun beach, and fishing. There is also a nice pool right on the beach with a gorgeous view of the Potomac. All around a great campground and we'll return here many times.

Nice campground with great scenery at the foothills of the mountains. The park itself is very busy and somewhat packed but that being said, they do a great job of keeping it nice. Lots to do for the kids, a great pool, lots of activities. Luray is a fun place to visit also. Check out family restaurant 1/2 mile to the east. Some of the sites were not very flat seemed to work for everyone. We'll be back!

A nice campground! It's on a quaint river that was fun to tube down, also beautiful waterfalls. Lots to do and the sites were all wooded. There were lots of ducks and rabbits around and the kids loved it! We will return.

This was a disappointment. Don't believe what they say about waterfront and being on the bay. All the waterfront sites are taken-up by permanent or semi-permanent residents. The place felt like a trailer-park. It got wild at night with plenty of beer-drinking and golf-carts speeding around. There were some wooded sites but many are in an open field. The people and management were very nice and it was well-kept (and huge camp store) but overall this is not really a campground. It's a trailer-park.
