We stayed for 3 nights to see the Balloon event. Our site was a 30 amp, no sewer, the park staff are very good, the pool looked nice, the laundry room was good, the down side was it is 16 miles from the balloon park, we should have found something not as far away, the rate was with the KOA card, very high, and the real down side is the I-40 vehicle noise, there is a sound wall, but you can't sit outside because of the noise, and the Jets take off directly over the park on departure at about 2500 ft up, it is an industrail area with some apartments, we will find another park next time
This is a very nice place, we spent only 1 night, the site was just perfect, we walked about 300 yards to the lake, the Ranger and Staff Lady were very helpful, we will stay there again if were in the area.
We stayed here as a one night rest stop, the pull-thru site was wide, 30 amp power, table fire ring etc. We used the laundry room, was very nice, this is a park for family's with kids, the site was not very level, we had to stack 2 boards under one side, the big complaint is starting at 5:30 am the trains start blowing there horns, the tracks are very close, this goes on every 45 minutes up to about 10 pm, a $40 a night park after Sam's discount with that noise is a problem, a $22 park you expect that, next time we will travel farther to another park
As others have said, the owner bought the park a couple years back and has been fixing it up. It is all true. The staff is great and the location is wonderful. We stayed as a one night stay and will be back
This is a park that feels like your just camping in the woods. We had a large pull-through site in the back for a few nights. The sites have very good spacing. This is a clean, well run park. The staff was great and the location is center to everything. We will be back for sure.
This is a very nice well kept RV park: wide sites, table, sewer, super clean, no noise or road sounds, very friendly staff. The owners here really do care, and it shows. We will stay here again.
This is an older park, but for a one night stop was fine. There is a little highway noise, and a train in the distance. The park staff is the best. The hookups were very good. Sewer at the site is optional, we did not have one, but there is a dump station. There is a great laundry room, nice appliances. Parking is easy, all gravel, a few patches of grass. If your over 65 there is a discount, our price reflects this.
This is a huge RV park, very clean. We stayed only one night. The staff was very good. Overall a nice place to stop. We had a 10% coupon reflected in the price. The location is close to everything in the city. We will stay here again.
This is a very decent, clean park. The staff was wonderful. They have a pool, we didn't use it. There is a nice pet area. No complaints at all, we will stay again.
This park was for 1 night. The sites were level for our 35' 5th wheel rig. The Wi-Fi and cable TV both work very well. The staff was very friendly. We will make sure to stay here again as it's a nice quiet park.
We have stayed here 3 times. We use it for one night stops on our way to other places. The park is very clean, the staff is friendly, all the spaces we have ever used were level gravel. We paid $33. for a night in cash; credit cards are a little more. We will use the campground many more times.
