This was a nice campground on Grayson Lake. The only downfall was that the lake can become very noisy when there are fishing tourneys going on. The park is very family friendly and thus can be loud until quiet time.
Not a pleasant experience for us. Bathrooms and showers were dirty and one day had no hot water. The sites are one on top of each other. Lots of kids and in some cases 2-3 families sharing 1 site. Didn't quiet down till 11 or 12 at night. The neighbor's fire rings were right next to our trailer and the smoke came right into the trailer.
Very out of the way campground, which suited us just fine. Our site was between 2 seasonal sites and was very quiet. When we first arrived we needed to clear out all the leaves in the site and there was garbage in the fire ring. The lake was nice and was able to do some fishing. They have available internet which came in handy for us. We had a hillside site and was ideal for us. If you want sun, try a lakeside site.
I would never stay here or recommend this place to anyone! When we arrived, the site they assigned to us smelled of sewer. We asked to be moved and the next site still smelled slightly of sewer. I came to realize that there was nowhere in the campground that didn't smell. There is also a train that runs near the campground, all night long. This kept waking us up. Not a pleasant experience for us.
We were in PA for my son's wedding. We had some concerns coming in as to what the shower/bath situation was going to be like. We were very much satisfied by what they had. The campground is on the hill side and in the country so you need to get used to whatever the "country" brings to you. That wasn't a problem at all. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if we were in the area.
