What can I say about Treasure Coast? There may not be a lot of activities during the summer month, but between the friendly and accommodating staff and the clean larger sites with level concrete pads cannot be beat! This park is ultra clean and a joy to stay at. I understand that during the winter months there is usually a very long waiting list. If you are looking for a more quiet reserved campground this is the one for you! I can't say enough about how enjoyable it is to stay at this place.
We just returned from spending 3 nights at Encore Sunshine Key RV Resort & Marina. I'm not sure where to start, so I'll start with the name, this is by far NOT a resort! On check-in we found that the Sundry shop is actually a gas station next door that was under construction and would be closed during our stay. We were told that we would be on site 309, but the attendant recommended site 310 as being more "shaded". When we finally got to our site it turned out that a trailer could not fit on site 309 due to a tree growing over the site. In regards to site 310, I'm not sure what she meant by more shade as there was no real shade to speak of. It appears that the majority of the sites are for permanent resident trailers for the weekend Miami crowd. The campground in general along with the sites are poorly maintained. Trash was found on each site (beer bottles, empty food containers, left over bones from someone's dinner, plastic cups, etc). A good percentage of the sites power source/cable hook up/water are either tilting to the side, or broken open. On Friday and Saturday night the weekend residents return competing to see who can play the loudest Latin music. Young people could be found darting all over the campground in golf carts playing loud Latin music also. You can just imagine trying to sleep or take in a nice sunset while music is competing all over the campground. In speaking with other RV'ers at the campground as well as other campgrounds nearby all indicated that they also experienced this type of behavior and would not return to Encore Sunshine Key RV Resort & Marina. It appears that the "long term" residents treat this as their second home with refrigerators, freezers, boats, fences, kids toys all over their sites. I would not recommend this campground to anyone (including my enemies).
