This campground was very clean and the river front sites were excellent. It was peaceful, the owner's were friendly, and the dog walk area was enjoyed by our little terrier. Chama area offers nice shops and it's main attraction is the steam railroad that goes to Colorado. The internet connection was great. The restrooms/showers were very clean. It has a laundry room. We camped in our big rig and would camp here again if we return to Chama.
The park was easy to find, however had to do your own check in due to limited staff. The dog release area was the street or along the fence. Laundry is bit expense. I never got the Wi-Fi codes if they have one, we used our Verizon card. The pool closed at 8PM. It fine for overnight stay.
This is a small family owned park surrounded by pine trees in quiet area of Spring. Woodlands mall is 20 minutes driving time. It very clean and the staff was very friendly. A lot of winter Texans during the season and then it slows down. They offer on site and off site activities. All the facilities inclusive of pool, game room, library, and exercise room are extremely clean. It's pet friendly.
This is a very nice resort. The staff is nice and friendly. It offers a lot of different activities. The sites are big. It's very clean. Progresso Mexico and great outlet mall are within 15 minutes. We camped here in our big rig and our site included a nice casita. It has 24/7 camera monitored security with a check in gate for visitors. It's 55 plus community , however grand kids are welcomed. Our stay was 30 days , however extended to 90.
It's close to bus stop to travel historical downtown area. There are a lot of trees. Sites are very close to each other & among the permanent residences. The short dirt section along the wall is what they call dog walk. It's next to a busy highway. You're sewer is right next to the patio of your neighbor. The staff is friendly. If we were in a smaller rig and no pets it would be great location to visit Santa Fe.
