We stayed one week prior to the Octoberfest in Mt. Angel. Well maintained facility with friendly management. Enjoyed two dollar breakfast on Saturday morning. Ice cream social and bar-b-que was available during our stay. Enjoyed the peaceful setting many local fresh fruit and vegetable stands. Mt. Angel is a quaint German village worth seeing.
We spent the holidays here Thanksgiving through Christmas. The park provided the main course for both meals, and guests provided side dishes and desserts which was a wonderful experience. The park is well maintained, peaceful, and our dogs loved the beach. The park managers are friendly and helpful. If fishing, shelling, crabbing, eating fresh oysters and relaxing is what you are looking for this is the place to visit. The forgotten coast of Florida is a delight to explore and a highlight of last years camping experience.
We stayed here one month so we could see Savannah. The owner is friendly and helpful. The campground is quiet, and we felt safe. The cable service leaves something to be desired, so we ended up using our own Dish service. The only thing we did not like was the laundry room washers and dryers are old and inefficient.
