An ok park but not my first choice. We find this park to be way over priced. We stayed here a month and wanted an end spot but they said they didn't have any available. Well all month long they were available. I think they put you where they want you not where you would like to stay. Even though I paid top dollar for this spot, we have a small trailer right next to us with screaming kids and mom and dad screaming at them, and I can't get an end spot. The sites are no more that ten feet apart and the doors meet each other which is not my favorite way to park. Our neighbor on the other side just sat down to use the restroom. Yes it's that close! The wifi is very poor. I never got a good signal right across from the office. I saw a person park there automobile behind there trailer as they were getting ready to pull out and they had a tire in the grass and the manager came over and got all over this guy. The man was very upset and I found it to be very unprofessional. As I said this is not my first choice while staying in Denver but as you will find there is not too much to choose from and I think they are ripping people off.
Very nice park. Owners were very helpful when we arrived and came to the site to make sure we had everything. We didn't have a sewer hose connection so the owner went to the office and gave us one to use. Campground is very clean. Although it was just opening for the year they were working hard to get everything in shape. The wifi was not working at the upper sites because of thefts but someone was arriving to fix that week. The owner was very apologetic. The road to the campground is very mountainous and not recommended pulling a vehicle, but unhook before going thru the mountains. Once you arrive you will love this place. It's very peaceful and the views are outstanding. We will be back to this park.
Very nice park. My only complaint would be no security or not being gated for this price. It seems a little pricey for no security. This price included tax and a Good Sam discount also! But all in all very clean and very beautiful.
This is a nice park. We go to this area quite often to visit family and this is the best around. Nice big spots and parking area. Very quiet and the train that goes by over a mile away never bothered us. We stayed in the Green Country section and the lake is not too visible from some sites but a short walk will get you there. The lake is close and Pier 51 ramp with a restaurant and all kinds of boat rentals. Staff is very friendly and they have 24 hr security with park rangers. This is a park I will stay in for future visits.
Stayed here in April. It was a little cool but loved the park! Very friendly staff and very helpful. We didn't like our first site so I went back to the office and he said to just pick the one we wanted and let him know. We stayed close to the road and it was still very quiet. The park is very close to everything in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We plan on returning to this park.
We stayed here in March and it was pretty cold. We have stayed here before only because of the convenience to relatives home. It is real dusty here as all of the streets are dust and gravel. The owner met us on arrival and is very helpful. There are a lot of workers staying here but everyone was very friendly and we had no problems other than the dust.
Nice manager on site. Plenty of room at the park. Grandson liked the play ground. Looked like some people living there but still a nice park. If you want a quiet place this is not for you. The train below the hill comes by quite often and blows the horn right below the hill. But worse than that was the dust! My wife and I found we were so stopped up when we left and didn't know we had allergies so bad. I was miserable until we left and were gone for a few days. I would go back and stay at this park, but it would really be nice to have a paved drive.
