This was our first visit to Brown County. We stayed in Taylor Ridge Electric. What a beautiful park! There are areas that are more sunny (sites 1-100) and more wooded (100+). The things I liked were the modern (clean) shower houses, beautiful views and enormous swimming pool (capacity 2,450). Bicycles are a good idea as you can ride to the nature center and general store. The things you need to be careful of is picking a site that your RV will fit on. The website tells of the length, width, and slope as well as distance from water but you really need to check this when you book. Some are really short. In the more wooded areas there isn't much grass so we had a bit of dirt and gravel tracking into the coach. Bring bug spray! It is in the woods and you'll need it. We WILL return soon and camp here again. It was a great time despite being electric hookup only. This is the biggest park in the state of Indiana boasting 15,776 acres. It was 4.5 miles from the entrance to our site (#382). Highly recommend this park.

We have camped here in the past, and it seems to me to be headed in the wrong direction. We camped with a group, one of which rented a travel trailer from the campground. They had several issues with the trailer including dead bugs in the bed, pubic hair in bed, propane not hooked up and empty. The reaction from management to the rental camper problems was not good. They even called the lady that cleans the camper, and she drove down to our site (with an attitude) and asked us to show her the dirt, hair, and flies. I also had problems with my breaker tripping several times on my site. I love to fish and caught nearly a dozen nice catfish (catch and release) in the pond but I would think twice about going back and certainly wouldn't rent a camper from them again.

There were nice level pull through sites. We didn't need to unhitch for our overnight stay. There were nice showers and bathroom. Cable and Wi-Fi were included. We would stay here again.

This is a top notch campground. They even have some way to keep it bug free! There are shaded sites (no grass), a nice pool, and paved walking and bicycle trails. There is great transportation to the parks. There is a nightly campfire, movie, and sing along in central location. Very, Very nice place to stay.

The office person was friendly. Level pull through sites made it an easy overnight stay without the need to unhitch. We would stay here again for an overnight stay.

This place was quiet and had nice level sites. It was perfect for us for a overnight stay.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The sites are spacious with lots of grass for games. The swimming pool is large and has life guards on duty. The shower house is clean, but the space is somewhat limited as there is one bathroom/shower house for each side of the very large campground. The only issue we had here was the lack of camping etiquette from others staying at the campground. There seems to be no concern about cutting through campsites to get to your destination without thinking twice about it. We even had people on golf carts cutting through the grass/campsite. I would go back again because the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Great park overall. The lake is great. We rented a pontoon boat from one of the marinas. Some of the sites are a little tough to get a long unit leveled but with a little work, you can get level. There are several beach areas to swim and the fishing is good.

This is one of our favorite parks. Family owned and operated by a husband and wife that are friendly and active. Quiet hours enforced, lots of weekend activities for kids and adults.

Arrived at the park and the place was beautiful. The first thought I had was I wish we were staying more than one night. Sites were not spacious but were not cramped either. Nice Indoor pool, putt putt, paved roads, very nice camp store. Bike rental was available at reasonable prices. They provided you with a gate scan card so the entry was secure. I would love to go back there and stay several days. The only thing I didn't like was that no camp fires were allowed.

We arrived at the park from Mackinaw City on July 3rd. Upon entering the park we had to sign a waiver that if we hit anything they were not responsible. The roads were gravel, turns were tight, and nearly all of the sites are Lot Owners where they have put up fences to "protect" their land which made it difficult to navigate. The temporary spots in the park were not together or near the pool or playground. We were a 10 minute walk from the pool. I checked on golf cart rental and the pricing for our 5 day stay for the cart was $250 plus a $100 deposit. (which was more that our camping cost for the 5 days). Needless to say, we walked it. As we approached the weekend the conditions seemed to get worse. We ended up leaving on Saturday afternoon rather than Sunday (and lost our money for the last night) because the campground was so bad. I would not go there again.
