One of the best of Oregon's parks. Great falls to hike to and bike path as well. Hint: The lower numbered loop is more open for sun if you're making reservations online.

Adequate campground. One shower, 2 stall bathrooms were clean although men's shower could use a new floor. Wi-Fi was good and water pressure was adequate. The owner is in the process of updating things. At the passport rate this is a good deal. At full price I'd go up the road to the other Crooked River Ranch RV and for $10 more get a more deluxe value. Would stay again.

Pleasantly surprised at how nice the CG was. Showers were good and WiFi strong. Propane was cheapest in the area ($2.25). A pool would have given it a 10. We stopped here so we could use the cable to watch a Monday night football game (many local channels available w/o the cable). We extended our stay by a day because the park exceeded our expectations. Off to the state park next.

We wished we could have stayed longer than 1 night. The owner set up a nice shady spot with benches, gas grill, fire pit (benches need to be refinished and cleaned of bird droppings from the many bird houses in the trees). Two toilet/shower combos with plenty of water pressure and recently done. Owner came to our rescue with salad dressing which we forgot to bring! Would stop by again (for longer to check out the town).

Gravel pads which drained quickly during the heavy rains here today. Had a nice large pizza for under $10 at the store which is part of the campground/gas/grill setup. Only thing that would be a negative is the one combo bath/shower units that are in the park. If it's occupied, you must go up to the main office. Water pressure and hot water was plenty.

Well spaced park with paved paths and grass between slips. Bathrooms are newer (although the motion sensor lights and fans are annoying when they turn off too early). Showers are narrow but water is hot and pressure is good. Would use again. Price is for AAA and electric/water.

Best value in area. Sites are close together. Many monthly folks so if you're light sleeper this will work as alarm clock. Water pressure was good and plenty of hot water.Could be very muddy if rainy.

Would have been a 10 if the heated pool was open. New owners (as of Feb.) have added a new hot tub and gas fired fire pit area. Gravel pathways with all buildings appearing new. Showers had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Great place to spend some time or meet friends/family.

Park is narrow and slopes downward from the highway which makes this park quieter than most that close to a highway. Good wifi, modern showers with plenty of hot water and average pressure. Pathways are dirt/gravel mix which can be dusty. Overall a nice place to stay as long as you are not looking for a resort.

Stayed first and third night here (2nd checked out another ABQ RV park). This one is smaller and has mostly back in spaces which is fine for our class B Sprinter. Much quieter than other nearby I-40 rv parks (perhaps being above I-40 rather than level with it). Wi-Fi is good and restrooms are new and clean with plenty of hot water and pressure. Park rows are terraced on hillside with the top one being the only that is pull through. I would stay here again.

Positives was that it was 10 miles from Old Town, our main destination and friendly people. Pool wasn't open yet. Since there were so many people here the Internet was very slow. Restrooms were clean and had plenty of hot water and water pressure although somewhat dated and dark. Would stay again if the pool were open. Our site (B10) needed blocks one one side because slope was too much. Others looked more level.

Great cable TV, heated pool, and hot tub. Bathrooms are modern with 3 good spaced shower stalls. My only gripe (and it's a big one) is that they charge PA folks an "electrical surcharge". They have a xeroxed page highlighting the phrase "Electrical surcharge may be applied". I asked that since it stated "may" , what were the conditions under which the charge would apply and was answered that they have the right to add surcharges. I asked if my small class B qualifies for an added electrical surcharge. The answer was "If I didn't like it, I was free to move on". While there I witnessed 2 non PA folks check in and not be charged the "electrical surcharge" and they were in class A rigs. When I tried to explain that this sounded like a bait and switch and a way to have a lower price on the website both they and I became ticked. My wife, the ever gentler person, asked if there are times when the charge isn't added and was told not really. So in short, I'd have paid the $21 without qualms if they'd been upfront and straight forward about it instead of devious and defensive about it. It was apparent they'd been asked this before.

Nice manager who opened office on a Sunday for us. He said that's why a "reservation strongly suggested". This park was almost completely occupied by long term renters which may explain the very poor bathroom conditions. Great cable TV and channel selection. There are 2 individual bathrooms with shower toilet combo which were very darkly painted and shower stalls stained. Wife won't let me return.

A great stop for passing through. Rustic bathrooms but clean. Bathrooms had 2 showers and 3 stalls. Pressure was good and water was hot. Cable TV was fuzzy. Wifi was good for checking email (probably sat).

Clean restrooms/showers with plenty of stalls and showers. Good pressure and plenty of hot water. Being next to freeway ensures road noise as well as easy access. I could only pick up a couple of TV stations. Very good for folks passing through with PA available all week.

Don't understand the 3* review. Place was clean and had new looking bath houses. Great water pressure with plenty of hot water although women's toilets didn't flush very well. Nice folks. I do agree I wouldn't want to pay $30 for a night though. We spent 2 nights here midweek.

Very scenic little RV park. Owner was very friendly and helpful (told us about the crayfish vendor down the street). Single toilet/shower combo per sex. Water was hot and bathroom set up nicely. Would stay here again.

The word "Adequate" comes to mind when I think about this park. The price is right with nice owners. The downside is that PA for 30 amp is same as 50 amp at $15 (not 12 as on website). Water in showers was lukewarm.

Great value. Very helpful staff. Nice sites with grass and cement pads. Quieter than expected for being in the center of town. Close to stores and cheap washer/dryers (75 cents and 1.00). Two private bathrooms with shower stall combined. Plenty of water pressure.

Excellent park. Would have been a 10 but the hot tub was not working. Bathrooms were the best we've seen in a RV park. Great setup w/private bath and shower. BTW, great milkshakes at the office.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We drove here after checking out the closer one to the caverns and liked this one better (especially with PA pricing). Spaces felt larger and more expansive. We also liked the shower building better. Would stay again. Pool was not in operation. They also included a free dvd coupon and this park had cable TV with a ton of stations (needed for a Thursday night and March Madness).

We rated this a 9 because of the price (17 or 8.50 PA). 95% of the sites are occupied by workers in the area so call ahead. The main drawback is that if you need to use the women's bath/shower and the person in there has locked the door; you are out of luck and must wait until she unlocks the door even though there are 2 stalls and 2 showers inside. Very quiet and the managers are friendly and helpful. Check out the views of the mine if you go. Also, if you are not driving a large rig, take the Clifton to Silver City route for a great scenic trip.

Passport America valid only for full hookups. Great Wi-Fi. Shower is a hotel room so only one shower/bathroom stall per sex. Biggest complaint is that the water was lukewarm (great water pressure). Since we use bathroom and showers of RV parks would pass on this one next time.

Rate was based on the weekly rate. The office help was very friendly and accommodated our needs in advance of our arrival. I arrived 30 mins after office hours, and they opened up and booked us. Tables are in need of refurbishing, and manager said it was on the schedule for this summer. Showers in the adults section could use some of those narrow flip up seats to make shower use easier by flipping up out of the way when exiting the showers. Whirlpool temp was nice and hot. Park staff was always ready with a smile, nod, or a wave. Will come back again next spring training!

Great place. Spoke with the new owner (2008) who mentioned that they were enthused about their purchase and have plans to continue to update the property. There is a TV in the adult lounge with Dish TV service. This would be a great place to have a family get-together. If they were to add some boat rentals, I would update my rating to a 10.

I was hesitant of trying this campground due to the past ratings so I called them to discuss the condition of the park. They told me the work on the grounds which included cleaning of the area and fixing what needed fixing. They also promised me a money back if not satisfied guarantee which sold me. I paid my money and was pleased by the condition of the place. I did not ask for any of the 3 days worth of money I paid. I plan on returning.
