This is a great park. Very quiet. Free DVD rental and book exchange. The hosts and owner are excellent. The other guests were all friendly. Many seemed to be return customers. The only minor drawback was the location of hookups in our site (at the rear of the pull-through site) made it necessary to unhook our towed vehicle to get far enough back to be within 20' of the sewer and 30 feet of the water. We will return and stay longer next time.
Excellent place to stay. Very nice camp host. While we were there, we visited the ghost town of Garnet, which is a preserved (rather than restored) ghost town. It is well worth the 30 mile round trip (20 on dirt roads). The campground is nice, in a grove of trees with flat sites. Right next to Clark Fork River. The only drawback to this place is that active train tracks run close to the camps, with several trains throughout the night. Other than that, this place is perfect.
An excellent place to stay. The views of the mountains and valley are great, as are the owners. The sites are nice and wide and sit up on the slight hillside to overlook the view. Hookups are modern and in excellent condition. Highway noise was not excessive, and light during the night. We had a great stay and will return.
