This is a really nice setting on a small mountain lake, some distant artillery and firing range noise during the day. Verizon wireless phone coverage was good but data connection is slow. Great for visiting West Point. No swimming pool, but they have a nice swimming beach. Access road maybe intimidating to some, but presented no problems for 36 footer with toad (53 ft total). We would definitely stay again.
Convenient location, quiet, well kept, some seasonal sites toward the back. We had a nice shady site in pine trees which accommodated our 36 footer with room for our toad in front. They were having mosquito problems while we here, but were spraying weekly. Cable TV was a little fuzzy at our site. We would stay again.
Good park for overnight, close to I-70. Level gravel sites, pull through sites long enough for big rig and toad. Lots of areas to walk dogs. Two ponds on park and some trees. Some sites are being redone, park needs a little TLC. Would stay here again.
Amazing green RV park, lots of nice grass, late afternoon shade, friendly staff. Close to Capitol Reef NP, restaurants nearby. Utilities good including Wi-Fi. Long pull through sites. Would definitely stay again.
Open space campground on hill overlooking reservoir, mixture of pull through and back-in sites. Sites have level concrete pads and covered picnic tables. No cell phone coverage. Pretty views, lots of humming birds. Quiet. Would stay again.
Only park close to Monument Valley, nicely kept, some shade, pretty location in a canyon. Roads are paved, gravel sites slope a little front to back but not bad. Cable TV can be fuzzy depending on weather, Wi-Fi is OK. Pool is indoors, decent store and laundry. Fills quickly in season, make reservations. Would definitely stay again.
Surprising little park, level, gravel, parking lot style sites. Good utilities and Wi-Fi. Pond and trees in front of sites. Clean, quiet, but can get strong winds suddenly. No prairie dogs, and only 1 emu now. Would stay again.
Review only applies to "overflow area." Level, gravel sites on top of hill near rodeo grounds. Wide open, no privacy, plenty of wind, still reasonably quiet. Full hookups, no amenities, Wi-Fi is from nearby hotel. Would only stay if nothing else available.
Very nice RV resort, shade, grass, pool, store, happy hour, etc. Nice clean laundry, fenced pet areas are small, but other areas available to walk dogs. Level concrete pads at sites. About 10 miles to Zion Park gates, the do offer a shuttle to the park for a fee. Would stay again.
Pleasant city run park/campground. Nice size level, concrete pads (several are big enough for a 45 footer). Many sites have water on the wrong side, so bring extra water hose. Very quiet, wooded location about 1 mile North of Carmi. Enter only from Carmi as roads from North are narrow, have over hanging trees, gravel and potholes. Would stay again.
Very nice, large, shaded, professionally run park. Strong Wi-Fi, playground for kids, two pools, one for adults only. Concrete pad at motorhome steps. Nice area for dog walking just outside park (city pathway). Would definitely stay again.
Good campground for overnight, convenient to I-70 with restaurant next door. Didn't really notice traffic noise. Gravel drives and sites, sites are level and easy access for big rigs with toad. Very nice, clean laundry with 4 regular and 1 oversize washer and dryer. Nice little miniature golf course. No pool yet but they are working on one. Good areas to walk dogs. No real shade. Would stay again.
Nice campground just North of Pagosa Springs, very clean laundry, gravel roads and sites. Pull through sites sloped very slightly front to back. Beautiful area but access to river is down steep stairs. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice park on South side of Moab, quiet. Small shade trees and some grass between sites. Sites are pretty much level gravel. Easy to get in and out of with big rig and toad. Would definitely stay again.
All new, level concrete pads, nice grass between sites. Very friendly staff, escort to site. Convenient to restaurants, quiet, near Turnpike. Would definitely stay again. Lots of pull-through sites. Location on map needs correction, entrance is on W 47th Street at Emporia.
Very nice County park. Friendly staff, clean, wooded and open sites, plenty of room between sites, quiet. Next to a lake and pet friendly. Would rate it higher, but electric only at sites, some water spigots but only 1 per 4 sites. Nice double sewer dump. A hidden gem.
Located in industrial area but seemed very safe and secure. Pretty quiet and well run. About 5 miles from French Quarter but they run a shuttle 3 times a day for $5. All amenities worked fine. Nice dog area at entrance to park. Would stay here again.
Quiet park in March, lots of summer amenities would be available. Sites mostly gravel and grass. Long way to restaurants and about 7 miles off I-81. A little pricey and inconvenient for an overnight. Would not stay again.
Good park for an overnight. Close to I-65 and Flying J. Pretty quiet for next to interstate. Water pressure is high at 85 psi. Nice park management. No cable unless you have Dish network receiver. Good Wi-Fi. Would stay again.
It is a nice park. It is pricey during Biketoberfest in Daytona but also only a few blocks from the beach. The pull through was long enough for the motorhome and toad. It is a convenient location. We would stay again.
Nice park and great spot for overnight stop. The place is huge and there were only a few others staying here midweek. Rate included 30 amp service, W/E, there is a sanitary dump on the way out. No full hook ups were available this time as there were a lot of road workers staying there. Sites were easy access and plenty long. There is a steak/seafood restaurant in walking distance if you prefer to not unhook overnight. Unsure of Wi-Fi reception as we did not use it.
Nice park with big sites and easy access for big rigs. Entrance to park from Interstate is a little confusing but well signed. Close to all kinds of shopping and restaurants (within a mile). Lots of areas to walk dogs. A little road noise but not too bad at night. Would stay again.
Comments relate to Westbound RV lot at Ohio turnpike Milepost 76.9 only. Paved parking lot with pull through spots and 30 and 50 amp electric service at each. Enough space between sites to park. Toad as sites are just long enough for a 40 ft motorhome. You must disconnect or you would block the road. Extremely convenient for overnight stop. Sanitary dump and potable water are available and free at exit of RV lot.
Nice campground in a tourist area. We liked the location. Restrooms were a little tired and shopworn, but clean and they are expanding the building. Sites are a little close. Campground was quiet. Would stay again.
Nice enough park, a little hard to find, but only about 2 miles off I-70. Park was full because of pipeline and highway workers. Quiet, no real views to speak of. Satellite worked OK as you are on top of a hill. Would stay again.
Takes only cash or check, no credit cards. Located about 15 miles from Yellowstone Park West Gate. Nice park, although a little windy in the evenings. Quiet enough. Good alternative if West Yellowstone is full. Would stay again.
Decent park about 9 miles from Sedona and Cornville. Wooded and quiet. Access road had potholes and needs trimming for big rigs. Had site with water and electric only, but sewer dump was convenient on exit. Would stay again.
It is convenient to Interstate but traffic noise was not a problem. It is close to Drag Strip so noise could be a problem during races. Very informative staff. The sites are level. We would stay again.
Easy access to Carlsbad Caverns. Level graveled site. Quiet, train noise was not a factor for us. One of two Dog Parks could use improvement. Great $4.00 breakfast available on weekends in activity hall. Would stay again.
Park located about 16 miles from Interstate. Large, level graveled sites are about 1/4 acre each. Beautiful dark night sky. Great sunrise views of nearby mountains. Quiet. Overnighted here. Pleasant staff. Would stay again.
Nice gem, a little north of Halifax. Park only has about 10 electric sites. We stayed overnight and dry camped but the views of the lake and the serenity made it worth it. Site were mostly open. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
We stayed overnight. Mostly a park for seasonals. Quiet and wooded. Staff was friendly. Wi-Fi is $2.00 a night extra, extra person charge is $10.00 a night, plus $2.00 for 50 amp service. It was OK but we probably would not stay again.
Nice campground with super helpful staff. Surprisingly good restaurant at campground with great breakfast at really low prices. Some sites a little not level, and the dump station is a little out of the way on exit. We would definitely stay here again.
Stayed in a water and electric only site. Nice friendly staff. Level site was back-in only but open with good access for big rigs. Small laundry by office and another at rear of park. Good gravel roads. Sewage dump was clean and convenient to exit. Would stay again.
