We used this park as a stop over on our way back to Ontario. We found it very pricey and we could not access the wireless from our site. It is a clean, well maintained park, but roads are steep and narrow. We would use this park again as there are not many RV parks in the area.
A very convenient stop over park near the interstate. The ooffice staff were friendly and helpful. There are some long term sites, but all were neat and clean. We used this park as a stop over on the way back to Ontario and would stay here again. We were unable to access wireless internet at our site, but it worked at the office.
Very nice and clean family run park. The office staff were very helpful and arranged for tickets and pick up for the Grand Ole Opry.It is near all major attractions and tour buses will pick you up here. We stayed here for 5 nights and would recommend it to others. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for a week while visiting our daughter in Burlington. The park has improved a great deal since we stayed here last spring. The permanent sites are no longer there, and all trailers/rv's must be licenced and newer. It is a convenient place to stay when visiting in the area and also honours Passport America members. Wireless internet is available , but reception is sketchy. We will use this campground again on our way south next fall.
We stayed here for 2 months-Mid Nov. to mid Jan. We paid extra for cable, wireless internet and electric. People in the office were not very friendly. At Christmas our daughter sent us a gift certificate via JC Penny addressed to us, which never arrived in our mail. JC Penny traced it , and it was cashed by the park owner's wife and topped up by her credit card. The park owner paid the money ($75.) back to JC Penny and it was refunded to our daughter after he had been contacted. He said it must have gotten in with all the gift cards they received by mistake. We do not understand how this could have happened as our address was on the envelope. The jam sessions, happy hour and dances at the park were very good and we enjoyed those, but would caution guests to be wary of the mail service.
We stayed here for 3 nights and paid $13.25 each night as we have Passport America. The park is very clean and the owners are friendly and offer suggestions as where to eat and what to see.It is very close to attractions and shopping in Mount Airy. We would certainly stay here again.
