Actual price was $29.60. Credit cards are not accepted. I would have rated this campground as a 5 or possibly 6, however, we encountered a very rude, argumentative, and obnoxious campground employee. I contacted the owners and complained to them. I received a call back the following day advising that: "This would not happen again." I will not stay here again. I hope others that decide to stay here are treated much better than my wife and I were.

A return visit for us. This is a great little campground and the owners take great pride in maintaining it for their guests. Very good free Wi-Fi service and good over the air TV reception from Austin. It has one unisex restroom-shower combination which is kept spotless. Large clubhouse with cable TV available. Honor system laundry facilities. The previous reviews are accurate on. Pay with cash or check only.

Rate is with Passport America discount, cash only. We were underwhelmed with this campground after reading the previous reviews. Mostly full time residents who do not maintain their campers or mobile homes. The ladies shower was "out of order" and there is only one men's shower stall, and one toilet for men, one for women. Long gravel pull-throughs that are level. My neighbor decided to start his diesel truck at 6:11 AM and kept it running until 6:37 AM. Good over the air TV. If you are desperate for a spot for one night, this campground will be OK. I doubt we'll be back.

A great park to stay at! Bordered by the Colorado River on one side and just a short walk to the Gulf of Mexico on the other. Long back-in concrete sites with good power. Water and sewer hook-up conveniently located. Some pull-through sites are also available. The Nature Center offers classes, lectures, and kayaking in the wetlands. Wi-Fi was recently added and was available at the sites close to the Nature Center. The previous reviews are accurate. We would stay here again.

Price reflects group discount for RV rally. A nothing special campground located far from town. Site are "OK" at best. Some had sewer connections, some had cable TV (ours didn't), kind of hit or miss. No over the air TV. We would stay here again.

Price reflects Senior rate. A return visit for us. We noticed a huge improvement in the cleanliness of the showers and restrooms near our site (site #10). Interior roads need attention, as there are some potholes. Wi-Fi worked well and there were plenty of over the air TV stations. We would have rated the campground higher if it had sewer connections and if the roads were in better shape. This is a very popular park so call ahead to make reservations or for site availability. We would stay here again.

Actual price was $22.50 which reflects a Good Sam discount for 30 amp, pull-through site. A nice older Mom & Pop campground. Newer owners, very helpful. Sites are long and wide, but not very level. Plenty of fire ants! Be prepared for them. Close to busy road, so there was some road noise. No TV reception at all. We would stay here again.

Rate reflects average of four night of camping. Two nights at discounted rate ($19), and two (Friday & Saturday) at full rate of $22). Plus 11% tax. Previous reviews are pretty much right on. Our site (#13) was a bit uneven for our 28 foot rig, but we made it work. No cellular service (Verizon) but plenty of local over the air TV. Very clean restrooms. Got a bit busy on the weekend, but there were plenty of empty sites, too. We would stay here again.

A little disappointing. I would have thought that Camping World would have made this a "Jewel." But it is a nice, inexpensive park, close to downtown Chattanooga and close to Camping World. Campground hostess was very helpful with shopping suggestions. Agree with other reviews that roads are a bit narrow and turns tight for big rigs. Being only 28 feet, we have no issues. Gravel sites are level. Limited channels on the cable service.

I'm surprised no one has reviewed this park. They offer Passport America rate for two nights, then the normal rate of $29. We opted for a non-sewer site, 30-amp, close to their immaculate restrooms. While this is mainly a snow bird destination (156 sites are permanent), there are plenty of full-service back-in sites and non-sewer pull-though sties. Office only open from 9 AM to 3 PM and closed on Sunday, but instructions for self registration are available. Very good laundry facilities. Good over the air TV. We would stay here again.

Actual price was $22.36 which was the Passport America rate. Includes "resort" fee of $3. I would not call this a resort, but a nice, no frills, inexpensive overnight stop, well off the Interstate. Clean restrooms with plenty of hot water. Gravel sites, but level and long pull-throughs. Wi-Fi and cable available at extra cost. We would stay here again.

Expensive but worth it! Rate reflects a Good Sam discount for a 30-amp, back-in site. A finely tuned operation. The city bus stops at the campground (covered waiting area) and will take you to the Metro which will take you into the city. An orientation at 4 PM details what the campground offers, and they also sell tickets for the Grayline tours of the city. Again, the shuttle arrives AT CAMP and takes you to town where you board the tour bus. The campground office also sells Metro / Bus passes. When I had an issue with my pass not working, they replaced it immediately, no questions asked. Close to shopping and an IKEA. Wi-Fi a bit flaky with so many trying to use it. Great cable TV. We would stay here again.

A return visit for us. Nice, no frills campground but not near anything. Steep and windy entrance. Big rigs need to be careful of the s-turns. We used the campground as a "base" to visit New York City (55 miles) and to do laundry. We would stay here again.

Nice "Mom & Pop" park; owners VERY friendly and helpful. Actual price was $31.50 which included $3 a night for cable TV. We spent two nights here while visiting the Corning Glass Museum. Nice large sites with plenty of room for multiple slideouts. I'd pass on the cable TV option at $3 a night, expensive and we never got great reception. Many annual campers, but plenty of sites for those passing through. Easy on and off the Interstate. We purchased discount tickets at the campground office for both the Rockwell Museum of Western Art and the Corning Glass Museum. By buying them at the campground office, we received books on both museums. We would stay here again.

Typical KOA...overpriced. $43 was the average price for a four-night stay. Price goes up on weekends, and after Labor Day price goes way down. Had a severe electrical issue upon arrival. Voltage dropped to 95 volts with one air conditioner on. Park manager quickly found an electrician to make repairs, but voltage was still low (105 volts) after repairs. Roads in poor condition. Wi-Fi adequate.

Price is Passport America weekend rate for full hook-ups, concrete pull-through site. Wi-Fi and cable TV included. Rate goes down during the week. Clean restrooms and showers. Park was only 15 to 20 percent full on a Friday night. We will stay here again.

Rate is Senior Rate. Nice campground run by the City of Lewisville. As previously stated, the big downside is no sewer hook-ups. We did NOT notice anyone dumping gray water on the ground as one reviewer noted. The city really needs to take a look at the cleaning of the showers and restrooms. If I was paying for the service, I'd like to get my money's worth. Why was there mold on the shower curtains? Mostly back-in, asphalt sites, fairly long and wide enough for multiple slides. Very convenient to I-35 and plenty of local TV channels and the Wi-Fi was good. We'd stay here again.

Rate is for Passport America. Well off the interstate and the directions were a bit misleading. We were in a nice pull through site near the stream. This campground caters to families for the weekends and summer. There were just a handful of campers in the park while we were there. Restrooms and showers a bit rustic. We would stay here again.

Passport America rate. Well off the Interstate near nothing. Grizzly's is an older trailer park with mostly permanent residents. We were directed to a pull-through site at the end of the park close to the dumpster. If you're only looking for someplace for the night and need power, this will do. While we didn't use the campground shower & restroom (only one of each) they looked very clean. Fairly level dirt site. I'd hate to be in this campground when it rained.

Nice campground well off the Interstate. Call ahead if checking in after hours as manager is not near the office. Great Mexican restaurant withing walking distance across the street. Only downside to this campground is the many permanent residents who begin leaving for work at 5:30 AM. Lots of pick-up truck noise and doors slamming. Wi-Fi worked fine as did the cable TV.

Price reflects Passport America and "off season" rate. Whew! Had to jump through hoops to get into this park. You can't just show up and expect a site. Had to call a central booking number and that took over 6 minutes to confirm a site. When we got to camp, it took almost 10 minutes to do the paperwork. And the park was almost empty! The site we had was a dirt pull through, full hookups and fairly level. During the night it rained and our trailer sank into the dirt a bit. This campground would be good if visiting Shipshewana or the surrounding area. We'd stay here again as long as it wasn't on a weekend.

Older campground off the interstate. Numerous full-timers, few sites for overnight guests. You may have to hunt for the campground manager. Level, grass pull-through sites, shaded or sunny, you choose. Side by side hook-ups (W/E-30amp) and cable TV. There was a frog in one of the ladies showers!

Actual price was $21.19 for electric and water and includes a Good Sam discount. An older campground that has seen better days. Office staff very friendly, explaining that the campground has flooded a number of times when the reservoir released water due to abnormal flooding. Entrance to the park is very bumpy with loose gravel. Good 30 amp electrical service in our back-in site. Since we were only here overnight, we didn’t bother to hook up to the water, but it tasted good. Wi-Fi available on the porch at the office. Bathrooms and showers, though a bit dated, were very clean. While they may have 44 sites, there are quite a few permanent residents and not very many sites for overnight travelers. We would stay here again.

Actual price was $35.91 in Canadian Funds and includes a GoodSam Discount. This is a huge campground just west of Edmonton, Alberta and is a stopping point for those heading to or returning form Alaska. It’s just minutes from west Edmonton Mall. Pay showers, 1 “Looney” for about 5 minutes, but plenty of hot water. Free Wi-Fi worked well. Huge laundry too.

Actual price was $35.70 (Canadian Funds) for W/S/30AMP Electric. Nice campground with shared hook-ups. Lots of construction & oil workers staying in the park, so there was quite a bit of noise between 6:20 AM and 7 AM. Clean showers & restrooms. Wi-Fi available, but you’ll have to go to the laundry room or fight the mosquitoes on the deck for a good signal. Nice laundry. New owners working to make upgrades to park. We would stay here again.

Price was $24 in Canadian funds for 15amp (??) electric. This is a place to stay away from!! We had planned on staying at a different campground (Sasquatch Crossing), but were turned away as we were told that the campground services had not been “turned on” yet. This place is the pits! This “park” (and I use the term extremely loosely) houses mostly construction workers, along with a number of dilapidated old mobile homes. Our electrical service was barely adequate to microwave our TV dinners…only 106 volts! At 6:16 AM, the power went off until an emergency generator could be put into service. Fairly clean pay showers, cost 1 “Looney” or more. Water quality was not very good. A sign in the laundry cautioned not to wash whites with hot water due to the minerals in the water. The Wi-Fi advertised is nonexistent. When we checked in, we were told it hasn’t worked in the past month. We would not stay here again unless it was an emergency!

Price (in Canadian funds) reflects a GoodSam discount. Nice park at the start of the Alaska Highway. Both pull through and back in sites available. Even big rigs with multiple slide outs should fit. Sites are dirt and somewhat unlevel. There is plenty of grass between sites where we parked for the night. Showers and washrooms need a good cleaning or updating. Dump station available. We would stay here again.

Actual price was about 5.50 in Canadian funds. One of the most picturesque spots we’re ever camped at!! We would have rated this campground much higher, but the old abandoned vehicles need to be removed along with old washers and dryers, and a burned out cabin. The showers and washrooms were adequate, but really need a thorough cleaning (or replacement)! Get a cinnamon roll as soon as you register, as they don’t last long. Watch for moose in the lake, late evening and early morning. The electric service (30 amp) was adequate. We would stay here again.

Conveniently located within easy walking distance of Signpost Forest, grocery, and nature trail around nearby lake. Sites are level, both pull-through and back-ins available. Clean showers and washrooms. Laundry was available, but we didn’t use it. Actual price with Good Sam discount was $32.65 (CA) for a full service (including cable TV) pull through site. Campground offers dinner in the tent adjacent to the office / washrooms. Wi-Fi worked good, but we were close to the office. We would stay here again.

Actual price with Good Sam discount was $28.35. A very nice campground very near Whitehorse. We opted for a back-in site close to the showers / washrooms which were very clean. Lots of trees, but you’re still close to your neighbor. Our hook-ups were behind our trailer. Pull-through sites, cable TV and sewer are for additional cost. We spent two nights here while touring Whitehorse. We would stay here again.

Rate reflects Good Sam Discount. Nothing more than gravel lot with water and 30 AMP electric. If you stayed here and it rained: you may not get out. Owner extremely opinionated! This place needs some work! The dump station is impossible to use. Showers and restrooms were adequate. Good pies in the restaurant though. The restaurant is also the only place the Wi-Fi works. We would not stay here again.

Actual rate was $31.50 A rustic campground 3/4 of a mile down a steep gravel / dirt road off the Glenn Highway. We chose a back-in site close to the showers / restroom. Pay showers: 25 cents for 5 minutes. Both the showers and restrooms were clean. Mosquitoes were very bad and sap dripped onto our car and camper! We would not stay here again.

A nice campground off the Alaska Highway. We arrived to find the office closed, and had to self-register. We didn’t use the showers (only open from 8 AM until 9 PM). Pull through site large enough for any sized rig. Good over the air TV reception. We would stay here again.

This is a review for the TRUE Homer Spit Campground, almost at the end of Homer Spit, on the right, just past the Salty Dawg Saloon. If you want true Alaska campground, near the action on the Spit, then this is the place for you. Easy walking distance to restaurants (Finn's Pizza) and fishing charters. A menu of various prices for campsites is posted, ranging from tent / dry camping at $30 a night to waterfront sites for $52. We were in a non-waterfront, back-in site, across from the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry to Kodiak Island. You will track fine black gravel in your rig. There are no water hook-ups, so make sure your water tank is full. There is a dump station and a hose to fill your water tanks if needed. There are ample washrooms / toilets and unlimited showers for 1 dollar. We would stay here again.

Nice little campground, cash or check only for payment. Gravel roads and sites. Clean showers and restrooms. Good electrical service. We arrived on Dessert Night! Campground provided homemade desserts for guests, plus coffee and tea. A campfire and plenty of seating brought the guests together. We would stay here again.

Price ($33 Canadian) reflects Good Sam Discount. A nice little campground just south of Beaver Creek, Yukon, on the Alaska Highway. The 20 amp service in our site was a bit weak, as we tripped the breaker a few times. The owners escorted us to our pull-through site. Level site, nice setting, and very quiet. Wi-Fi hook-up is available in the office. Super clean restrooms and pay showers, but 2 shower tokens provided. Extra tokens (Loonies) will lengthen shower time. Quite a bit of history in the campground relating to the building of the Alaska-Canadian Highway. The owner gives nightly Jeep rides in the area (weather permitting). Road construction crews had trailers here during our stay. We would stay here again.

Price reflects Good Sam discount. What a great campground, probably the nicest in Alaska and nicer than the vast majority of campgrounds we’ve stayed at anywhere. There are a number of different “categories” of sites to choose from, depending on whether you want a pull-through, cable TV, W/E only, etc., so you only pay for the amenities you want. Easy walk to town and restaurants. The owners greeted us and provided detailed information about activities in the area. Our back-in grass site was almost perfectly level. The showers and restrooms were immaculate! Wi-Fi worked great! This campground sets the standard for all Alaska campgrounds! We would definitely stay here again!

Actual price was $31.50 for a full hook-up. We arrived in Juneau on the ferry and were greeted by the campground host (owner?) advising that that the cable TV had not been working for weeks and the Wi-Fi was “weak.” We were told that there were free DVD’s in the office to use, but the campground office was not open the entire 4th of July weekend. Wi-Fi worked well except for our first night in camp. Campground provided detailed information and maps of the area. Two out of three dryers didn’t dry properly, however, the campground refunded part of the $16.25 spent to dry the clothes. We think that the washers (varied from $4.00 for hot wash to $2.50 for cold wash) & dryers ($3.25 per load) were extremely expensive. Roads in the campground were a bit bumpy due to the rain, but our back-in site was level. A very quiet campground with some permanent residents. The restrooms and showers were kept very clean.

We spent three nights here while exploring Sitka. While there is one other RV park in Sitka that has water & electric sites, Sitka Sportsman’s Association RV Park is the only one in Sitka that offer W/S/E and handicap accessible showers & restrooms (heated, unisex), and internet (a bit weak). The showers were not cleaned on a daily basis while we were there, but the campers tried to keep them as clean as they could. They need to be attended to a bit more often and cleaned. The park is located approximately 7 miles from town and adjacent to the Alaska Ferry Terminal. Sites 9-16 have W/E/S, sites 1-8 only have electric and water. Dump station available. All sites are back in. Sites 1-8 are on blacktop, 9-16 on gravel. Highly recommend making reservations well in advance if possible. We would have given it a better rating except for the restrooms needing a thorough cleaning and regular maintenance / cleaning.

We spent four nights here while exploring Ketchikan. Actual price was 34.85 including tax for non-waterfront site. Fairly level sites. W/S/E/ Cable TV with just a few channels and Wi-Fi. All worked well but the sewer was sticking up a bit high. Although a bit far from town, it is the only full service campground in Ketchikan. Waterfront (extra cost) & non-waterfront sites are available. We asked for a site close to the showers & restrooms and were accommodated. Friendly staff. There were lots of eagles in the trees surrounding the RV Park. The restaurant at the resort had not opened yet for the season, but there were plenty of dining choices in town and plenty of free parking in town also. While the “all-in-one” shower / toilet facilities were a bit dated, they were clean and there was plenty of hot water. Washers & dryers worked very well. The resort also offers boat rentals and fishing charters. We would stay here again.

An interesting campground! We spent two nights here waiting for the Alaska Ferry to Ketchikan. Previous review are pretty much what we found. Big rig “could” fit in a few of the sites, but you’d most likely not be able to put out multiple slides. Getting to the larger sites would be challenging to say the very least. Power is 30 amps and is “ok.” We didn’t hook up to water, as it’s just a garden hose that’s lying in the dirt. When I turned it on, a yellow "substance" came out. Yuck! Since we’re a small trailer and use the campgrounds showers, we based our decision to stay here comparing the reviews for this campground and the one in town. The showers and toilets here are barley adequate, and need to be cleaned, trash emptied, and paper towels replenished on a regular basis. Very disappointing. Free Wi-Fi, but you’ll have to go to the laundry room to be able to get online. We were in a site very close, but could not get a signal. This campground honors Passport America for the first night ($15.50 Canadian, includes GST) and the second night was the normal rate, $31 CN, GST included. We would not stay here again.

A bit overpriced considering the lack of amenities. The toilets are pit toilets and there are no showers for now. Construction of showers and flush toilets began in May, 2011 and are still waiting to be completed. 30 Amp electric was weak. When we turned on the microwave, voltage at our site dropped to 108 volts. Good water. Sewer connection easily accessible. All grass, back in sites. Big enough for the largest rigs with multiple slide-outs. Park manager will come around to collect the fee: cash only, $26 Canadian as of June, 2011. Poor signage from town to the campground, but easy to find. Take Main Street 8/10 of a mile northeast through a residential area of town to the campground. Entrance will be on your left. Numerous walking trails throughout the area and along the river which is next to the park.

Actual price was $22.50, with Good Sam discount, for 30 Amp electric and cable TV. Free Wi-Fi. This is a mobile home park with numerous R/V sites. The camp managers were very nice providing information and maps for shopping in the area. Has very clean showers and restroom.

Overpriced! We were charged $49 Canadian which included a $10 registration fee. Park Canada has a monopoly on camping inside the park! Pull through site was adequate for our trailer. Good 30 amp electric. We did not hook up to water for our overnight stop. There are no showers in this campground! You'd have to either walk or drive to Wapiti campground next door!

Overpriced! We were charged $49 Canadian, which included a $10 reservation fee. Showers and restrooms were clean, but only one shower stall and the hot water ran out very fast! Why? Parks Canada has a monopoly on camping in the park. Take advantage of the bus going into Banff. It's well worth the $2 price (P/P, each way) not to have to fight traffic and looking for somewhere to park.

A Mom & Pop campground conveniently located near Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump, just west of Fort Macleod. Good 30 amp electric. We did not hook up water for our brief overnight stay. Wi-Fi was an additional $3. Clean showers and restrooms.

Good electrical. Wi-Fi available. We did not hook up to campground water for our overnight stay. This campground is an alternative to the high priced campgrounds in Billings, which is about an hour east on I-90. But if it rains, it will be really muddy! All the sites are in desperate need of some gravel!

Actual price was $36.59 which includes Good Sam discount for full hook-ups, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Although right next to the Interstate, the noise didn't seem to bother us. We asked for a site close to the showers and restrooms (nice & clean!) which was nice, but the sewer was way at the end of the site and other utilities toward the center. Other sites in the campground had all utilities together. Site was a bit muddy due to the recent rains. It could have used some gravel. Most other sites in the campground were well groomed. Nice restaurant across the street.

A small campground near Mt. Rushmore. Price reflects Passport America rate for a W/E site. Good Wi-Fi. Clean showers and restrooms. As per previous posts, the road in is twisty. We would stay here again.

Nice for an overnight stop. Close to Wall Drug and town. Long pull-throughs but they need a bit of gravel to make them level, although we didn't have a problem getting our TT level. Since the sites are gravel and dirt, there may be a problem if there is a lot of rain. Very clean showers and restrooms, plenty of hot water. Free Wi-Fi. Good cable TV. Price reflects GoodSam discount for W/E site. Only downside was being right next to railroad tracks. One train came through during the night. We would stay here again.

Has two unisex showers and restrooms near the pool which were clean but need some renovating. Although close to I-90, the noise didn't bother us. Good cable TV and Wi-Fi. We would stay here again.

How disappointing!! We stayed at this campground based on GoodSam ratings of 8.5/10/10 and it deserves NO WHERE NEAR this rating! Of the two shower stalls in the men’s room, one was “out of order” and the door to the second shower stall was off its hinges, sitting up against a wall. In the ladies room, only two out of three toilets were functional. And the shower floors in both the men’s and ladies shower stalls were just plain NASTY! They need a thorough cleaning! Paint was flaking off the walls in the only functional men’s shower. Weeds were high throughout the campground. Cash or personal check only as the credit card reader was “not hooked up.” The campground is located just off Highway 60, and we were able to hear the road noise and trains. On the “plus-side” there was “OK” Wi-Fi (you’ll need a site close to the office) and good over the air television service. 30 amp electric was very good. We did not hook up to water for our overnight stop. Campground host (owner?) allowed us to choose whatever site we wanted, so we found a site with some shade without any assistance. This may have been a really nice campground at one time, but it has gone downhill. And at the GoodSam rate of $24 plus change, it was overpriced in our opinion for the amenities provided and condition of the campground. For a big motorhome or trailer / fifth wheel, who doesn’t need the showers and restrooms, it could be “OK” for an overnight stop. The pull-through sites are long, wide, and seem fairly level. We would NOT stay here again.

Well off the highway, so there was no noise. Unfortunately, no over the air TV service. This is a Mom & Pop run campground that is the first stages of being updated / renovated. An oasis in the desert. A small, well maintained park. Owners called us to insure they would be available to direct us to a site. Only 1 unisex bathroom / shower, but it was spotless. “Honor System” laundry facilities. Cable TV available in the clubhouse. Limited over the air TV. Very good free Wi-Fi. There are mostly full-timers in the park and only a limited number of sites available for overnight guests. We were parked in a site littered with numerous cigarette butts and trash. We tracked in a lot of dirt and debris into our trailer as the sites are just dirt. The restrooms were very clean, but a little heat would have been very welcome. It is easy access on and off I-10. It is a little noisy, but not to objectionable. The actual cost was $23.50 and reflects a Good Sam discount. At 5:45 AM, one of the residents near us started his diesel pickup truck and let it idle for 5 minutes, followed by the slamming of doors. From then until 6:30 AM it was a constant stream of people leaving for work. TV cable was excellent, great Wi-Fi and the sites were fairly level. As others reported, there was no one in the office. We found the manager (?) doing laundry and he then came to check us in.

The management of this park does not care about the appearance of the park nor the maintenance of the showers and bathrooms. The swinging doors in the men’s room stalls were “repaired” with cardboard and tape! Tile falling off the shower walls, paint flaking, and drain stopped up in another shower shall. When we arrived at our site, there was a car parked in it. When we finally located the owner of the car, he was upset with us that we were taking "his" parking spot! Numerous “residents” are allowed to trash their sites with everything from car engines to table saws. Awnings repaired with blue tarps. The showers and bathrooms are some of the worst I’ve seen in over 15 years or RVing. To call this place a “resort” is false advertising! The only positive thing I can say about this park was the internet was free, but you were “bumped off” if you were active on it. I would NOT stay here again! This park is at the "bottom of the barrel" of RV parks! Price based on military veterans discount offered by Carefree. A very limited number of sites for overnight visitors.

Unfortunately, I don’t agree with previous reviews of this State park. $31 a night for 30 amp electric and water is a bit expensive at a state park in my opinion. And the senior rate is for Florida residents only. Yes, the sites are rustic, fairly flat, and you will track dirt into your rig on a regular basis but the bathrooms and showers leave a lot to be desired. Yes, you can “get the job done” but it appears cleaning is minimal. Corroded sink fixtures? Why?? Dead bugs in the overhead lights (and there were a lot of them) and the trash wasn’t emptied during the three days we were there. And who’s responsible for the feral cat population? While 40 foot rigs could fit in the sites, it would be a very tight fit, especially with slide outs.

A nice park located just off Hwy 27. EZ access to the highway, but very little noise. We camped in the upper section, water and electric (30 amp) only. This park caters to seasonals, but there are plenty of sites (W/E or W/E/S) available. Super clean (and heated) showers / bathrooms. Good "over the air" TV reception and free Wi-Fi.

We've used this campground on and off for the past 10 years and it is extremely disappointing to see that repairs to the bathrooms have been neglected. Why? The Rec Hall has severe water damage but nothing has been done to correct the problem. Why? while the park caters to seasonals, there were a number of empty sites. Price reflects Good Sam discount and $3 a night charge for cable TV. I think it's time for us to look for another campground in the area.

Great overnight spot. Level gravel pull-throughs. Excellent cable TV and Wi-Fi. Only downside is that there had been a lot of rain and we tended to track in "stuff" into our camper. Owners extremely helpful. EZ on and off I-10. Price reflects Passport America rate.

All concrete sites. Can handle even the largest rigs with slides. Very limited over the air television service and pay Wi-Fi. Price of sites determined by needs / wants: 50 amp service more, waterfront (river) sites more. Laundry available but not used. Restrooms and showers clean. Nearby Nature Center (walking distance) offers lectures and small "hand-on" displays. Short walk to the beach and fishing pier.

A great park with easy access to I-10. All concrete pull thru sites, limited channels on the free cable TV, free Wi-Fi and a continental breakfast! Well maintained and clean park. Very friendly staff. Actual price was $17.50 - Passport America rate.

A very nice campground, well away from the Interstate. Gravel roads lead to very level pull-thru sites with concrete pads, long enough for the longest RVs. Excellent 30 amp service, Cable TV with way to many channels and great Wi-Fi. Clean, large unisex bathrooms, each with a toilet, huge shower, and sink. Laundry available but we did not use it. Price reflects the Passport America rate.

This is the second time we've stayed here and we were rather disappointed that the showers / restrooms were in desperate need of a cleaning. Black mold around the rubber mats in the showers and paint peeling from the ceiling and walls. Why?? The sites are mostly pull-throughs and fairly level, but some were muddy. A little gravel would go a long way. The campground is about 2 1/2 miles from the interstate, so there was no noise. Good over-the-air TV reception and good Wi-Fi until a storm went through and knocked it out. The price reflects a Passport America discount.. A "bare-bones" campground, for an overnight stop.

What a great park!! Arrive early as the park filled fast. By 8 PM there were no sites available on a Saturday night. This is a family campground and there were campers there with their children. The restrooms and showers were spotless. Cable TV and Wi-Fi great. Pull-thru gravel sites well maintained. Close to the Interstate but no noise. We would definitely stay here again.

Price is the Passport America rate. Easy access from I-30 or I-40. This campground is owned by the city but there were no signs directing us to the campground. We passed the entrance once! The entrance is a opening in the wall around the campground. Arrive early as the park closes a gate to limit access into the park after dark. Good local TV reception. Friendly and helpful staff. We'd stay here again.

We stayed here with our camping group. No Wi-Fi. A very basic campground. Restrooms and showers needed to be attended to a bit more often.

Price reflects a discount for military veterans. Regular price is $36 a night. A great location with easy access to attractions in both Dallas and Fort Worth. Shopping and restaurants are very close by. Showers and bathroom facilities are limited, but kept very clean. Cable TV and Wi-Fi worked very well. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice park close to Hot Springs. Good Wi-Fi, Cable-TV and very easy access to Hot Springs makes this a good choice. We would have rated the campground higher, but the rest rooms were not maintained on a daily basis as they should have been. Very friendly staff. We'd stay here again.

Price reflects Interagency Senior Pass. Sites are nice, all back-in, but plenty long. We parked in Loop "B" and the sites were far from each other. Some sites had water, others did not. Showers clean with plenty of hot water.

Price reflect a Good Sam discount for a site with 30 amp service. Long pull through sites, but not level! Almost every travel trailer or fifth wheel was unhooked due to the sites not being level. Some motorhomes had their wheels up off the pavement or nearly so. The restrooms were "OK" clean but could have been cleaner. The price includes a buffet breakfast at the casino. There is a 24-hour phone to call to have the shuttle pick you up. Friendly staff, Wi-Fi, easy access to I-20, and the buffet breakfast makes this a good stop.

Price of campground reflects Passport America cash rate. Easy campground to get into from I-10. We used Frog City as an overnight stop on our way home. Has nice level sites, great cable TV and WI-Fi. The campground is next to a truck stop and we heard an occasional big rig, but it certainly wasn't very noisy at all. The rear part of the camp is mostly workers or full-timers, but it is a very quiet campground. Has very helpful campground staff. The manager kept the office open past closing so she would be here to greet us and have someone available to take us to our site. I would have rated the campground a "10" except for the fact that only 3 of the 6 showers / bathrooms were in operation.

Price reflects 1/2 off for military veterans. You must show proof of your military service to obtain the discounted rate. A great campground with easy bus access to San Antonio. We spent 3 nights here while we toured San Antonio. The campground offers city tour pick-up from the campground office. Has clean showers and restrooms. Has very level sites, many pull-throughs, mostly in semi-shade. Great Wi-Fi and cable TV. Very helpful and pleasant staff at this campground. There is a Wal-Mart very close by.

Price reflects a Casita Rally rate. Nice campground in the Texas Hill Country. Has only one free shower and two pay showers: 25 cents for 4 minutes. The Wi-Fi was a bit flaky, but there were 140 units all trying to get onto the Internet at the same time. Great cable TV, with over 35 channels. Had good level sites. This campground hosts a number of RV Rallies during the "off-season" after winter Texans head home.

A very nice park conveniently located just south of I-10 between Houston and San Antonio. Easy walk to restaurants. Had big, level, long pull-through sites, some in shade, some unobstructed. While there are a number of full-timers and or construction workers at the park, we did not hear trucks leaving at the crack of dawn. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Had good Wi-Fi at our site. Cable TV had a half dozen major channels. Rate reflects both a Good Sam and cash discount.
