Nice campground, full hookups, easy access, paved sites, although slightly un-level (bring boards or levelers of you don't have power jacks), no fire rings (you may rent them), not a lot to do in the area, long walk to rocky beach along path with tick warnings. TV reception was good with stations from New Haven. WiFi available if you log in with your Brighthouse/Optimum/Time Warner/Cox account.
Nice park location, difficult access for large RVs due to bridge height restrictions on access roads and turnpikes. You must take RT 9 thru narrow city roads. Restrooms were disgusting because they haven't been cleaned in months. Many carnival workers staying there and seasonal workers weed whacking all day spraying my rig with rocks. One TV station so bring a dish. No WiFi.
One of the nicest, cleanest, well laid out RV park I've ever been to. Nice staff, office, and store, manicured level sites. Great location to visit Yellowstone. No pool or spa or else I would have given it a 10.
Good location, not too far to visit Monterey. All asphalt, narrow sites, awning to awning, lots of highway 101 noise. Manager was friendly and accommodating. Not a destination campground but a good base to see the area for a couple of days.
Great stop over spot to see the redwoods and visit Mystery of the Tree's. Managers were friendly, site was adequate for my 36' RV. No TV reception or cable, no WiFi, so bring some DVDs or use your satellite. Fish camp style with lots of small boats and seasonals. There are beautiful river views but it was cold with lot of sea fog even in August. Nothing in the campground for kids or activities.
