The rate reflects a $450 per month charge. This camp is run by very nice people who need to invest some money to clean it up. Many areas are run down, TV hookup required me to use an adapter. I opened the electrical box which was full of cobwebs, however the electricity, water, and sewer connections were serviceable. The sites are small and while the trees provide shade, you need to watch your overhead clearance. The picnic tables are almost unusable because they're all broken and in need of paint. Between the birds and the dust, our motor home needed a major wash after we left. We were in a row all by ourselves and for some reason they put an older RV right next to ours. They did allow us to move and gave us several choices of new sites. The staff was also responsive to our complaint about neighbors letting their dogs out without leashes so that they could relieve themselves on trees, picnic tables and hookup areas. That was not the fault of the park, just a bad neighbor. If the owners were able to invest some money in upkeep, this place could be very nice indeed, but except for the staff, it's quite a way from acceptable.
The best way to describe this park is that it's a hotel where you bring your own room. It's not a campground. The facilities were the same as an upper mid grade hotel; very good restaurant; bar; pool etc. All facilities were very clean. The staff was very helpful. When the World Series didn't show up on the TV, the front desk supervisor fixed it in less than 5 minutes. The place is relatively new so there's no shade to speak of. The only negative is the proximity to CA-99 and a railroad line made it a bit noisy. The trains were very infrequent though so it wasn't a big issue to us. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This site is exactly as represented on the website. That is itself is refreshing. It's new, so the trees don't provide any shade at all, but all public areas were clean and the entire park is well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had a lot of business to do while we were here and they we always ready with fax services. There are no tables for the sites, but all advertised services worked very well. There were several long term tenants here but there were no unkempt vehicles anywhere. WiFi speed was good and slowed when the place as full but still quite usable, never dropping below 24mbps. We would definitely stay here again if it fit our schedule.
This was a last minute change that we made after a bad experience elsewhere. It was a wonderful surprise. Small and neat, the grass sites were big enough for us, although the interior roads were slightly narrow and forced a bit of extra planning when maneuvering for departure. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and suggested a very good restaurant for us. We couldn't connect to the Internet at all, but that seems to be our issue not theirs. TV channels were snowy but some were usable. All other hookups were good. Laundry had 3 washers and two large dryers, but one of each was inoperative. Even though it's close to Hwy 101, the site is pretty tranquil and gave us a great base for exploring the beauty of the area. Recommended overall.
Don't believe everything you read on websites. We booked in advance for a week, but left after 1 night. They kept an extra day's rate as a cancellation fee, but we had to plead family emergency to get it. This place is pathetic. The laundry facilities were so filthy that they were unusable. There were several very old and shoddy campers everywhere, the "lawns" were little sod carpets in the dirt and were filthy. Ours had leftovers from a previous customer's dog. We stayed one night because we were exhausted, and we awoke to the sight of several vehicles being mechanically maintained on the grounds. The river was quite a distance away. We didn't stay to "enjoy" the other facilities. Just terrible.
