Rate reflects Passport America discount. Clean restrooms but the showers are small and shared dressing area. Nicely paved roads and sites. Industrial area on the right side is noisy. Wi-Fi was very good. Cable was abundant. Very nice staff. Easy to go to Ft. Worth for tourism.
This is a very nice park. The roads are paved and the sites are gravel, shaded, and spacious. We didn’t notice when we had neighbors or when they came and went. The park is gated. The pool is clean, but was not heated. We were at the front of the park so the interstate 35 traffic noise was noticeable in the morning. Cable had 60+ stations! Wi-Fi was excellent. The bathrooms/showers are individual and clean. Laundry clean, but a bit cozy. Just 5 miles from the capitol so the location was excellent. Also close to Walmart, grocery and restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Rate was Passport America rate.
Rate reflects Passport America. The regular rates seem very high for the level of services. There are a lot of residents here, not necessarily snowbirds. There is an industrial area behind the resort that is very noisy during the day. Luckily we were touring San Antonio during the day. The pool/spa is very clean and enjoyable but not heated. The shower/bathrooms are private and very spacious. The internet worked okay, but you had to buy more MB to use programs such as Skype. Five minutes from Walmart, other box stores and restaurants. Limited cable (15) channels. Nice staff throughout park. We had red ant problems and they came quickly to treat it. The laundry is clean and large. Great location if seeing San Antonio.
This RV park is a mobile home park with RV sites. We stayed for 5 nights (three nights at a PA rate and then a reduced rate for two additional nights). This is a low frills place to stay but the location is great. It is directly between Galveston Island and Houston (about 23 miles each way). There is a pool, but we didn’t use it. There is a charge for Wi-Fi. Didn't see any restrooms/showers. We did get all the major TV stations through antennae. The sites are level (gravel) with concrete side pads. There is ample room between sites. We stayed for the price and location, which was perfect (just off I-45).
We stayed here for two nights. Very nice family owned campground less than a mile from the beach. What we loved the best was the free entertainment on Tuesday night. It was awesome! We sat outside for four hours and had a bonfire. It was so enjoyable. Clean washrooms and very nice heated pool. Would highly recommend for those who want to enjoy the pan handle of Florida!
We stayed for several nights while touring Memphis. It is literally on the Mississippi River. We didn't pay extra for a river front site, but we could still see it from our spot. The BEST part about this campground is the FREE laundry. While we were there, they were a bit short on laundry machines as the Mississippi had flooded, and they were repairing. I still didn't have any trouble doing several loads. It was a nice perk. The bathrooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. Wi-fi was a bit weak. The perk is the river front. The campground does not have a pool or clubhouse. It is close to a super Walmart and about 20 minutes to Graceland.
We loved the location as we were in the area for Oktoberfest. However, we didn't have the best experience at the RV park, we loved the town. Our check in was okay until the work camper didn't give us the discount and replied she couldn't fix it and we'd have to wait for the manager (two days later). We got our site which is basically a H design. Four sites close together. We were disappointed as they had hundreds of sites available and they put everyone so tight. We couldn't put out our awning. There was no Wi-Fi offered. The bathrooms were clean.
We stayed here for four nights. The couple at the front office were super friendly and we felt very welcome. It has a great location central to all the Black hills have to offer. We did a lot including Custer, Mt. Rushmore, Keystone and of course Hill City. There were a lot of campgrounds in the area but this one had a great fall special. The Wi-Fi was very good. The only negative we had was that the RV sites were a bit close together. These big rigs and slides take up lots of room. But the central location really made up for that.
We stayed for six nights. The front office staff was very nice and worked with us on multiple discounts. We stayed at the top of the hill and had great Wi-Fi. I guess there are places in the park that are better than others for Wi-Fi. The pool area is wonderful for both adults and kids. The kids will love all the water features. The laundry room is very large and clean. The showers were hot and clean, but you have to continually push in the water faucet to keep the water flowing. It states you can walk to town, but we preferred to drive and found free parking downtown. This park is super close to town and that was a huge benefit to us. My only negative is that tents were very close to us and did not observe quiet time and partied until 4am.
If you are going to the amusement park, the campground offers such a great location to go back and forth to your RV. Shady and wide spots. Our first site was a bit too close to the water park for us, so they easily moved us to the other side which we loved. Although the campground didn't have Wi-Fi, we simply walked next door to the hotel and used it in their lobby while sipping on complimentary coffee and tea. Pools at the campground and hotel were great. The price is worth the convenience.
The staff was very nice. Our site was in the overflow as it was Nascar weekend. Track is 15 minutes away. Felt the $45/night rate was high for the site provided. The internet was non-existent, even at the rec hall next to the office. Showers are unisex.
Camped for three nights. Nice clean park with upgrades pending. One of the bathrooms had been done, just wonderful with "rain" showers, marble sinks and slate floors. The only disappointment (not in their control) was the extreme jet noise. Very hard to get used to.
Experienced great staff here. The noise from I-95 is minimal. Great location for the Richmond International Raceway races. Nice gravel sites. The WiFi is a hotspot and it was a very low signal strength during our visit.
