Perfect park facility-wise; paved roads, level, wide sites; far from highway. Utilities worked. Pool looked awesome. Disappointed internet not included in price, but Tengo gave 4 free hours so effectively no cost. No dog walking areas; two small dog runs. Would stay here again because far from major road noise.

Quiet! Mostly long-termers and full-timers. Best park in Big Bear area for the money. Seven rating for narrow sites and no amenities. Great internet; best ever in an RV park. Lots of cable TV channels. Good dog walking nearby; a block from the lake. Utilities worked. A little tight backing in for 30'+ rigs. Restrooms and showers showed deferred cleaning. Easy drive up from Hwy 10 through Yucca Valley.

Seven rating for location and facilities. Six because of poor internet which kept disconnecting. Paved roads, narrow, level, concrete sites. Good dog walking. Good antenna TV from Houston. Clean laundry. If you want to be at the beach, this is the place. Would stay here again and put up with going to McDonald's for internet, but we love walking on the beach.

If you are intending to use the internet during normal hours, do not stay here. The connection is weak and the bandwidth is insufficient for the number of users. We arrived at 6 PM and the connection was ketchup slow and consistently disconnected up to our 10 PM bedtime. The park looks barren. It has decomposed granite roads and narrow sites barely adequate for the newer, wider RV's. Utilities worked fine. A very few sites have shade. Clean dog run, but no other dog walking areas. It has a pool, tennis and basketball courts which but of no interest to overnighters like us. We used PPA, which made it acceptable for the one night we stayed. Would stay again only if the PPA discount still available. Otherwise, too expensive for an overnight with poor internet.

Winter rate with Good Sam. Paved roads in poor shape. Narrow, gravel sites, almost level. Some sites had standing water after rain, although ours drained well and stayed firm. Our pole tester showed reverse polarity, although adjacent four sites were OK, so probably isolated anomaly; wiring repaired immediately. Internet fast, but intermittent. Repair not started until third day, and not resolved by fourth day when we left. The park should have one day service response contract with its internet provider since the park's customers are mostly short timers and a 3-4 day response time leaves customers without the advertised service. Nice dog walk area (bags provided). For the price, compared to the two other nearby parks, would stay again.

Clean park and gorgeous setting on top of knoll. Only one site available for 30'+ (RV 33). Most sites are for smaller tent trailers, Class C and B, and slope down at back. Bathrooms and showers need maintenance from wear and water damage, but clean. Lots of dog friendly trails. Can use store's internet if close enough. Knoxville antenna TV available but sketchy. Stayed 3 nights. Would stay again.

Clean, well maintained park with paved roads. Gravel, narrow (adequate), but level sites. Sites stayed firm in hard rain. Below ground water inconvenient (but probably necessary for freeze protection). Free, fast internet. Good antenna TV reception. Good, grassy dog walk area. Some road noise from I-65, but adequately quiet at back of park. No frills park, but perfect base for exploring Louisville and surrounds. Would stay again.

Rate is PPA; otherwise the park is too expensive. Narrow grass/gravel/mud not level sites. We were lucky it was dry; wet weather would make setting up miserable. Park was clean and utilities worked. Lots of areas for dog walking. Internet was sketchy and slow. Would stay again (if weather dry) as long as PPA discount available.

Absolutely delightful, clean, basic park next to the Arkansas River. Rate is PPA. Sites are mostly level gravel; some puddles in the rain, but no mud. Good, grass dog walking area along river. Fast, free internet. Seven rating only because of lack of fancy amenities. Will be back.

Aptly named since half the sites are "by the river." You can practically fish from your door. About 8 miles from I-10 but well worth the trip. Narrow gravel/grass sites off a main concrete road with some wider premium (surcharge)sites. Mostly back-in, but negotiable. Very pleasant quiet river view park with sites next to a small fork, with the main river accessible across a vehicle bridge. Easy access dog walking roads and wild areas. Free, fast internet and good cable TV reception. Only negative is a single power pole for two sites, so watch which side your utilities are on.

Rate reflects Good Sam discount. Wide, level sites, paved roads, well maintained. Nice grass for dog walking. TV and Wi-Fi worked well. Spartan looking - needs 15 years for trees to grow. Would have rated an 8, but Spa not working and no mutt mitts in dispensers.

Beautiful park right next to the beach on the Gulf. Well maintained park with flowering landscaping. Narrow, gravel sites, but manageable. Very helpful staff. Nice laundry room. Only complaint, free Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent. Dog friendly (provides waste bags), but additional $1 per pet per night. If you like the beach, this is the best park in the Port Aransas area. Would stay here again.

Well maintained, older park. Spacious, grass sites. Rate a 7 for facilities, but the stench from the Laguna Madre at this location was unbearable and dropped rating to 5. Staff was helpful and friendly. Also, "water access" across street shown on park online map is a mudflat. Would not stay here again because of the smell.

Rate based on weekly charge for premium site next to ship channel. Electricity extra; they don't tell you that when reserving. County-owned park and it shows. Many power post covers are broken. Looks tacky, but all utilities worked. Wi-Fi good, but $20 per week. Large sites with adjacent grass. Many burrs in grass, so grass terrible for dogs. Expansive beach for walking, however. Had standing water after hard rain, but maintenance staff quickly trenched a drain. Location next to beautiful beach is a 10, but burrs, uncut grass and deferred maintenance gets a 7.

A big gravel parking lot. No place to walk dogs. Internet failed to connect. After staff reset the modem, still did not work until the next morning. Clean and satisfactory for a single night stay.

Older park, but well maintained. Two dog walk areas. Fairly large spaces. I give it a 5 because of Internet and cable TV issues. The Internet was a major problem on the south side. Staff explained an ongoing problem, but there was no offer of a rent rebate despite having to suffer walking to the office to connect. The cable TV at our site was broken and not fixed during the 3 days we stayed despite being reported to the office. OK for a couple of nights. I would stay again if the internet and cable was repaired.

The facilities are wonderful with wide spaces, grass between sites, nice stone tables, and above ground fire pits. Great place for dogs since there is lots of space for walking. Rate is with GS discount. But, I award a 6 because TV and internet are extra charges and are not disclosed by the brochure. My experience is if these amenities are not included in the basic charge, they are listed as "available" or "extra charge." Also, the Tengo Internet was slowww - doubly disappointing after having to pay for it. I would look for another park before staying here again.
