While visiting kids/grandkids in York, found this to be about the only RV park. Owners (family) are very friendly & accommodating. They are midway to converting this park from a Mobile Homestead to RV orientated. A big project going on but were available able to help us. Stay 7 days, pay for 6 and the really nice part is you will be at the center of so much to do. Gettysburg, Hershy, Baltimore and lots of others. Very easy to get to from I-83 situated on US30. Yes, we will stay here again. Stayed in a 40' Bus Conversion.
Being from Bowling Green and wanting to spend time with Family & Friends, and no other park readily available we have found the Fairgrounds an excellent choice. The parking for us has always been very convenient, open 24 hrs, patrolled by city police and most accommodating. Dump station is available, water hookups and electric is good but only 1 private 50 amp electric hook up available all others are 30. This is home to the National Tractor Pull and Wood County Fair so be aware that camping here during those events is very restrictive but available. You are 4 minutes from downtown and only 20 minutes from Toledo. Easy access from I-75 or US 6 and close to I-80 the Ohio Turnpike. We enjoy the stay. Dogs welcome and the love the walking due to all the Fair Facilities that are used year round. I will not hesitate to stay here.
We've stayed here a number of times, en route to/from Kansas City & Denver. No frills, easy in/out and help is friendly and available. Not much happening, quiet, just the stop over you need between destinations. Easy drive into KC or Denver
Stayed here as a Coast 2 Coast Deluxe member, park help friendly and courteous , anxious to please. Can't stop the rain, it was a deluge leaving lot under water. New area is nice, however back ins are at 90degree to road, making it nearly impossible to keep off grass/dirt and short turning radius against campers/Motor Homes on other side of street. All in all, nice campground,we will stay here again. But wait, there's more. An alligator in bayou and after this much rain could access the camping area.
We stayed in our Motorhome at this park just after the FMCA Rally in Bowling Green, Oh due to proximity and desire to explore. The staff did not return 2 different calls for reservations till next day. Upon check in, they assigned us a 30amp spot when 50amp was asked for but denied. While hooking up, found several empty 50amp spots in same location and asked guard shack if we could change and we were allowed to do so. Wi-Fi is available but seemingly only at clubhouse. To be fair, the facilities (what we used) seemed very nice. Close to town & Lake Erie activities, but will not return due to attitudes of schedulers and reservation problems. Too many other RV facilities in area for them not to be proactive with traveling campers.
Stayed here for a week. This is a public park with what I call "Bare Bones" facilities. Water & Electric at all sites including 20/30/50 amp service and excellent water pressure. Many trees for shade. Drive is gravel, but not dusty. Sites themselves are roomy and clean but not all fit a big rig. The town is very close. Access is easy. Operator of park lives close by and is readily available. No conveniences, yet. A small meeting building is nearly finished but no other structures. No showers/laundries/pools, etc. Bare Bones, but VERY QUIET, with wondering deer. There is a small city park adjacent, but does not generate any problems. Close to Denver & "Burbs" on SE section. Easy access to I-25 & I-70 I will stay here again.
