Let me preface this by saying we are not into commercial type campgrounds. There are a ton of things to do for kids. Free ice cream, pancakes, jumping pillow, pool etc. However there is a complete lack of privacy and zero trees in the "cheaper" section by the jumping pillow. If you are into this type of campground it is ideal, however we like the trees and quiet. We stayed here for two nights before getting into Ft. Stevens.
Terrible park with lots of long term people. Very dirty, broken down trucks in sites, dodgy looking people. We paid for two nights, and left after one. I would never stay here again.
Great family park with nature related activities for the family to get involved with. Naval base is interesting. Close proximity to Coeur d' Alene and shopping. Very clean facilities and fairly private sites. We staying in the Waldron Kestrel loop. On our list for a return visit.
