Great campground. I don't know if the restroom/shower building is new or not but it was cleaner than any we've ever seen. The staff was VERY friendly and we will definitely stay there again if we revisit the Rushmore area.
Staff was friendly but the sites were packed in pretty tight. Big rigs will be put in an open field. Our small trailer fit in the slightly more shaded area. This campground is for sale and it's probably going to be a housing project soon so it may not even exist in 2007. The buildings and sites were a but run down and overall it wasn't a good value. However, I didn't see any other alternatives in the area besides the campgrounds in Teton park themselves.
Full amenities but super-crowded parking lot type of place. We only stayed one night as a layover before entering Yellowstone. However the east entrance of YNP near Cody should be avoided due to construction. Try the northeast entrance as it's a flatter and easy for RV's. You won't miss anything but skipping this campground. In retrospect we should have just asked Walmart or Kmart to put us up for the night.
Excellent campground. Gotta be the best in Yellowstone. The sites were well spaced. Just make sure you are on a loop (we like loop J) and not along the access roads. Only things that were a hassle were that the dump station was closed/removed and the showers at the entrance were outrageously priced ($3.25). The staff enforces the trash/food restrictions with a vengeance. Highly recommended.
