It is a nice park, quiet and clean. The rrees provided nice shade in the heat. The showers and bathrooms immaculate. The Wi-fi is very good. We recommend making reservations-we stayed on 2 separate nights within 1st week of August and park was full quite early both nights.
This is a very nice park. There are big sites-level and grass at each site. The bathrooms and laundry area very clean. The pool area and camp store very nice. There are friendly staff. It is very convenient to Deadwood, Spearfish Canyon, Mt Rushmore, and Custer Sate Park. I stayed for 4 days and would definitely go back.
It is a nice spot. It is very quiet and friendly. The group fire every night is well attended. It is 1 hour drive to Yellowstone Park north entrance. It has a good road in. There is easy access from I90-18 miles.
Park was convenient to Halifax, which is the only reason we stayed for 4 nights.Owners very unfriendly and rude at times. Sites are small-we were back to back with a large motorhome-I think the site would better be called a pull through-not 2 sites. Recent rain caused many puddles and needles from the trees tracked in and out of our motorhome constantly.Does not appear that the owners care too much. Garbage and recycling shed were both full and messy. Wi-fi was sketchy-the owner blamed that on people using Skype. Definitely would not reccommend if you plan on spending time in your site.
