We stayed in our Fifth Wheel with 4 adults and one dog. The rate reflected the extra 2 people and Golden Retriever. Nice clean facility. Some dirt pads, but we had fairly level, asphalt pad with a nice lawn area. Wi-fi was about par for RV parks! Many fulltime residents, but park felt and looked safe and comfortable. Wide interior streets; no problem with 42 ft trailer plus truck. Lots of trees, grassy areas. Its location is close to a freeway and easy to find. Very close to old downtown so lots of food options and activities. Petaluma has a country feel, and the town itself is fun and folksy! This is far and away the best park anywhere near San Francisco. (We have looked extensively.) Worth the extra drive 37 miles to San Fransisco. Children will like this park. Nice pool and nice folks. We plan to stay here anytime we come to the Bay Area. I highly recommend this KOA.

It is clean and easy to find. Location is everything near San Francisco Ca. Novato is very nice and all service very close to Park. Pet friendly and mixed residents in Park. Lots of long term residents, but front section is for short overnight and weekly. Seemed safe and well cared for little park. Tight spaces, but all five slides deployed on our Montana. Gravel and pavement, sites are gravel and mostly level. Parking at your site for two cars. Tight yes but still doable. We felt safe and staff is wonderful. Deli on site. I would stay here again. May be best in area from what I found.

Excellent park like no other I have stayed. Level concrete pads with lush lawns. Most sites allow for back in or head in parking. One of the nicest locations on Sacramento River, with shopping and dining nearby. Fountains and River mask freeway noise, which runs parallel to the park. Highly recommend this park and it's very modern facilities, state of art hookups, dog wash, pet friendly. Gated and plenty of 24 hour security.
