I would rate this higher if it had water available at the sites. The water is from a central location on the loops. You have to drive over to it to fill your tank. Many sites are Very uneven, we had to find one level enough to use still using several boards to level the rig. The park is very clean, popular. Many boats around. This is a COE park. They have several campgrounds within the park and Gun Creek is just one of them. This is a grassy and wooded park, very pretty. We rode our bikes to the craft shop which had nice quality arts. We would stay again.
Quiet, clean, and level sites in the full service area. Certainly well maintained area by new helpful personable managers who have taken over recently. Bathhouse is old but maintained. Many full time sites but we were not near parked them. Convenient to I-77 and we would stay there again.
This is a very clean quiet and beautiful campground right in town. Well manicured grounds, nice covered deck for viewing the river, extremely clean bathhouse w very large private shower stalls. All sites are large, paved, nicely wooded, with picnic tables and fire pits. A wonderful campground with a very personable staff. We will be back.
This is a beautiful park on a pretty lake. The bathrooms are horrible. There are two toilets (one broken), one shower for the entire campground without sewer hookups. The facility is very old and should be replaced. There are other open air bathrooms. It is too bad as the park is pretty, sites are level and huge. Many sites with views of the lake. Don't plan on using the facilities.
I rate this campground a 3 because of the bathhouse. It is terrible. It was filthy when we tried to use it, along with the other open air bathrooms. All should be replaced. The sites are huge and great views of the lake. Too bad the bathrooms are so poor.
